Announced in 2024 as part of Young's Motorsports' expansion in the Xfinity Series, Honeyman has shown promise with one top-5 finish at Talladega and two additional top-10 placements, despite experiencing three DNFs.
Joey Logano, on the other hand, following his victory in the first playoff race at Atlanta, is currently ranked eighth with a four-point lead above the cutoff.
Having suffered with similar issues as Honeyman, Logano had openly addressed his struggle with alopecia—an autoimmune disorder that resulted in hair loss, which he first noticed through bald spots appearing on his head a few years ago.
Having found a remedy through his collaboration with HairClub, Joey Logano has made strides in managing his condition. The background made him an apt reference when Leland Honeyman reached out on social media inquiring about effective treatments for hair loss, writing:
"Anyone know of any good hair treatments places 😂 (I’m 19 btw)"

Joey Logano recently voiced criticism regarding the NASCAR track conditions
Following his victory at the Quaker State 400 presented by Walmart in Atlanta, in the second race of the playoffs at Watkins Glen Joey Logano was involved in an incident where a move he initiated resulted in a collision between William Byron and Brad Keselowski. During an attempted pass, Byron, piloting the No. 24 Chevrolet, sought to overtake Keselowski on the outside right as Logano made contact. It caused Byron’s right front wheel to mount Keselowski’s left side of the car, sending both vehicles crashing into the wall.
Joey Logano recognized his part in the mishap but cited the poorly maintained track as a contributing factor. He expressed his frustrations, stating:
"I’m not making any excuses, but I needed to check up more but the track’s a complete disaster. They need to clean it up and I got pushed maybe four-wide at one point, so tried to give room there and got up in the marbles. When I went to turn back to the left, it’s got crap all over the tires and I got into him."
Next, Logano is set to compete at Kansas Speedway, where he boasts an average finish of 16.9 across 30 races and has secured three victories.
