“Audrey got her turn!” - Kyle Larson’s wife Katelyn cherishes her daughter’s post-victory NextGen joyride

Hendrick Motorsports driver Kyle Larson advanced to the NASCAR Round of 8 after dominating the Bank of America ROVAL 400 on Sunday at the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course. Among the celebrations, he shared his joy at the victory with his daughter Audrey Larson in style in the pit lane.

Larson's wife Katelyn shared an Instagram story of the Hendrick Motorsports driver taking his daughter out for a ride in his car after the victory at the ROVAL 400. In the video, Audrey was seen sitting on the door of Larson's NextGen car while everyone around applauded both father and daughter.

The Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course's official Instagram page also posted the video of the father-daughter duo enjoying the post-win joyride in Larson's car. The caption on the post read,

"Memories with dad! ❤️"

NASCAR's official Instagram handle also joined in the joyous moment and posted Kyle Larson's post-victory images with his daughter. The caption said,

"These memories will last a lifetime. 🥹 #NASCARPlayoffs #NASCAR"

The #5 Chevy Camaro ZL1 driver qualified in sixth place and made his way up through the pack to P1 in the final stage of the race. He led 62 laps of the 109-lap race and earned 49 points. Larson bagged his sixth win of this season and now sits on top of the playoff standings,33 points above the cut line.


Kyle Larson's triumphs in the 2024 season: six wins and counting

Hendrick Motorsports driver of #5 Chevy Camaro ZL1 Kyle Larson bagged his sixth win at the ROVAL 400 and became the driver with the most wins in the 2024 season. Larson's cliched his first victory at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in the early stages of the season.

The 32-year-old's previous experience at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway would come in handy in the first race of the round of eight scheduled on October 20, 2024. The second race he won was at the Kansas Speedway, earning 57 points and bagging an additional five playoff points. He then dominated the Sonoma Raceway, clinching his third victory of the season and adding five more playoff points to his total.

Larson's fourth win came at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway, where he started from P5 and won the race earning 49 points, making him a formidable contender in the playoffs list. The California native made history in NASCAR with his fifth win at the Bristol Motor Speedway.

The #5 Chevy driver set three new records on the Bristol track. He led 92.4% of the race and became the first Hendrick Motorsports driver to lead more than 450 laps in a single race. He also became the first NASCAR driver to lead 462 laps in a single race since 1977.

Kyle Larson clinched the largest margin of victory at the race with a gap of 7.008 seconds before Chase Elliott crossed the finish line. At the Charlotte Motor Speedway Road Course, he led 57.40% of the race and secured his spot in domineering style for the next round of NASCAR playoffs.
