Austin Dillon recently celebrated seven years of marriage to his wife Whitney. The couple took to Instagram and shared a joint post of their anniversary in the Turks and Caicos Islands, wearing matching black outfits.
Dillon is a 34-year-old NASCAR Cup Series driver, who plies his trade at Richard Childress Racing. He got married to former NFL cheerleader Whitney Ward in December 2017 in North Carolina after the couple dated for about two years.
Ward penned a short anniversary note for Dillon on Instagram, stating:
"7 years!! Happy anniversary to us."
The five-time Cup race winner commented on the post, saying:
"Happy anniversary my love 7 years. What a start to our marriage together. From the moment my eyes laid on you I knew you were the one. Thank you for pushing me to be better and loving me through it all. I love you Whitney Dillon XOXO."
She replied:
"@austindillon3 Til the wheels fall off! Love you baby."
With seven years in the books, Ward has witnessed Dillon's victories in the NASCAR Cup Series. The first of these came at the 2017 Coca-Cola 600 at the Charlotte Motor Speedway in his only car in the premier series, the No. 3 RCR Chevrolet.
Meanwhile, the fifth and latest win was secured at Richmond Raceway. However, the race was criticized after Dillon made contact with Joey Logano and Denny Hamlin for the lead on the final lap.
For the 2025 season, the North Carolina native will return to the No. 3 Chevy alongside teammate Kyle Busch. The team will also run a new third car (No. 33) for multiple races with multiple drivers under the supervision of crew chief Andy Street.
