Former NASCAR Xfinity Series driver Hailie Deegan was driving the #15 Ford for AM Racing until recently before AM Racing and Deegan decided to part ways. Following this, Fox News's Bob Pockrass has now shared his thoughts on Deegan's future in Motorsports.

The 22-year-old California native, Hailie Deegan, is the daughter of Motocross legend Brian Deegan. After her stint in karting, Deegan shifted to racing on asphalt in 2016. By 2018, Deegan had entered the NASCAR K&N Pro Series, where she claimed three victories. These achievements helped her climb the NASCAR ladder to the Xfinity Series, where she competed full-time for AM Racing this season.

Hailie Deegan struggled in her first full-time Xfinity season, consistently delivering underwhelming results. Throughout the first 17 events, she failed to secure a top-10 finish and recorded three DNFs. These disappointing performances likely led to AM Racing parting ways with her.

Fox News' Bob Pockrass recently shared his thoughts on the split between Hailie Deegan and AM Racing, also offering his perspective on her future in motorsports. In a story on Fox Sports, Pockrass wrote:

"Deegan needs to go to a place where she knows she can race for a couple of years. She needs to go somewhere with a strong structure in place to set reasonable goals for her to improve...She might even need a program where she runs select races in a variety of series from late models to Xfinity to help improve her weaknesses." he expressed.

Pockrass added:

"People saw something in her that made them believe. They haven't seen all that much in the last few years to make them continue to believe."

As we get closer to the playoffs, with no contracts available for 2025, Deegan faces slim chances of finding a spot in NASCAR.

Kenny Wallace shares his thoughts on Bob Pockrass's opinion about the Hailie Deegan-AM Racing split

NASCAR legend and former Fox Sports analyst Kenny Wallace stood in support of Hailie Deegan, following her abrupt exit from the Xfinity Series.

Nine-time Xfinity race winner Wallace disagreed with his friend and Fox Sports journalist Bob Pockrass's opinions on the reasons behind the Deegan-AM Racing split. Wallace, in a post on X, responded to Pockrass's claims. He said:

"He (Pockrass) says Hailie Deegan has 1 million something followers on Instagram and like 3 million followers on TikTok. If she could win a NASCAR race, she could be a superstar. Bob, she's already a superstar." [03:03]

Hailie Deegan is one of the most popular faces in NASCAR, being awarded the most popular driver, in her time racing in the Truck Series. Keeping that in mind, her untimely departure from the Xfinity Series showcases the competitive nature of the sport.
