Bubba Wallace poked fun at Tyler Reddick while playing Mario Kart in a Ronald McDonald charity house in South Florida. Wallace called out Reddick for handing the controller to one of the kids after dropping his position in the racing game to seventh.

Wallace and Reddick are teammates at 23XI Racing in the NASCAR Cup Series. The former driver pilots the No. 23 Toyota Camry XSE, while the latter drives the No. 45 car. The two appear to have visited a charity house in Florida where they played Mario Kart with the kids ahead of the Homestead-Miami Speedway race.

In an Instagram story, Bubba Wallace was seen jibing at his 23XI teammate after losing positions in the race.

“Bold strategy, Tyler. You get to 7th and you hand it over to the kid?”

After poking fun at Tyler Reddick, the two drivers laughed it off. Wallace then expressed his ‘awesome’ experience with the kids from the charity house of McDonald’s, 23XI’s primary sponsor.

“Really special to spend some time with these awesome kids today!”

The 31-year-old driver encouraged his followers to donate to Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) of South Florida or any of its chapters. RMHC aims to provide shelters to families with children. The non-profit organization also provides medical care, educational programs, and nutritious meal programs, among others.

As for the 23XI Racing drivers, they are headed to the Homestead-Miami Speedway for the second race of the Round of 8. With Tyler Reddick qualified in the playoffs, he is looking to score good points around the 1.5-mile oval track. He is sixth in the playoff standings and -30 below the elimination line.

Bubba Wallace told fans to buy McDonald’s after ditching a political question

After ditching a question about his views on the US elections, Bubba Wallace told fans to buy McDonald’s meals and Dr. Pepper. He said the money would support the causes under RMHC, which aim to enrich the lives of families with children.

Per FOX News, the No. 23 Toyota driver said:

“Go to McDonald's, buy a meal, get the 10-piece chicken nugget, fries, Dr. Pepper and then round up that money, all of that money goes to [Ronald McDonald House Charities].”

Wallace said discussing political views was a waste of time. When he was vocal about his political stance four years ago, the Alabama native clarified that the sport needed a change, thus he took the initiative to speak his mind.

"Investing my time into that seems like a waste of time. I was definitely more vocal then because our sport was in desperate need of change,” Wallace stated.

He added:

"My beliefs stand strong in just being good humans to other people is the best way to go about life. No matter what side you're on, no matter what color you are, at the end of the day we're in this world together and we have to make it work together. And I think I've said that from day one and that hasn't changed and nor will it change.”

Following making the Round of 12 last year, Bubba Wallace didn’t qualify for this year’s postseason. So far this season, the driver amassed six top-5s and 14 top-10s, along with one pole position earned at Darlington Raceway.
