During the NASCAR Olympic break, Ricky Stenhouse Jr. has taken out time to organize his helmet collection, earning a nod of approval from Brad Keselowski. Amid the joys of new fatherhood to his son, Stetson Steele Stenhouse, Ricky took a moment to tidy up his impressive array.
Stenhouse Jr. has been in NASCAR for over 14 years with 420 races under his belt and boasts 3 wins, including the 2023 Daytona 500, and 59 top-10 finishes. In the Xfinity Series, he has secured 8 victories across 110 starts over seven years. This season in the Cup Series, he has logged two top-5 and three top-10 finishes.
With the season resuming soon and four races remaining, Stenhouse Jr. still has a shot at the playoffs. While peers like Kyle Larson, Kevin Harvick, and Chase Elliott dive back into grassroots racing, Stenhouse Jr. is cherishing family time. He recently shared a post on X (formerly Twitter) where he can be seen organizing his collection of helmets, displaying them on a blue wall. He took to his official X account to share a video of him arranging the helmets, and said:
"Finally organizing my helmets—top left is my and my dad’s first helmets, then bottom right is the start of my 2014 season 👌"
Keselowski was seemingly impressed by Stenhouse Jr.'s neatly organized helmet collection, expressing his apparent approval with a simple comment:
"Looks great!" wrote Keselowski.
Brad Keselowski's "look-alike" spotted winning gold at the Paris Olympics
After the men's decathlon wrapped up at the Paris Olympics, Brad Keselowski found himself being compared to the Norwegian gold medalist in the decathlon Markus Rooth because of their similar appearances.
Rooth's gold medal victory was marked by personal bests in every event, culminating in a 1500m run that sealed his win. The win was not only a personal milestone but also a historic moment for Norway, earning its first decathlon gold in 104 years.
Embracing the humor in the situation, Keselowski, RFK Racing's driver-owner, joined in on the fun after fans tagged him in numerous posts. He posted a photo of Rooth on his social media and quipped:
"What’d you do on your off week? 😂😁😊"
Meanwhile, Keselowski is currently riding high after getting out of a 110-race winless streak with a victory at Darlington, securing his entry into the NASCAR Playoffs as the 8-seed, bolstered by a solid stack of playoff points. Unlike last season, where his campaign fizzled out early, this year he's in a much better position to make a deeper playoff run.
On the other hand, Keselowski's teammate, Chris Buescher in the #17 Ford Mustang car, hasn’t replicated his previous year's performance. Despite logging five top-5s and four top-10s this season, with his strongest showing at Phoenix where he finished second, Buescher hasn’t found the same level of success as last year.
