Ty Dillon will return to the NASCAR Cup Series with Kaulig Racing in the 2025 season. He will be behind the wheel of the #10 Chevrolet, currently fielded part-time by Daniel Dye.
After his last full-time association with Spire Motorsports ended post-2023, Dillon took part in the 2024 season with multiple teams including the likes of Kaulig, AmeriVet, and Richard Childress Racing. With this full-time signing with Kaulig, he will also strengthen his ties with RCR.
Ty Dillon has also been racing in the Craftsman Truck Series this season, full-time for Rackley W.A.R. While he has not won a race so far, he has put himself within the top 20 multiple times, and twice in P9 as well.
Heading back to the Cup Series in 2025, Dillon shared his positive perspective on racing with Kaulig, claiming he has a bright future with the team.
"I am incredibly grateful for another opportunity to run full-time in the Cup Series, and to be able to do it with the men and women at Kaulig Racing means a lot to me personally," Ty Dillon said. "They gave me a chance this year to go out and prove myself in a handful of starts. The team and I were able to connect early on and we put together a few strong runs in the No. 16."
"I’m really looking forward to what 2025 brings with this team. We have a bright future ahead of us and we’re going to give it our all each and every race next season."
At the same time, Daniel Hemric will not return to racing with the team in the 2025 season.
Daniel Hemric will not return to Kaulig in 2025 as Ty Dillon signs full-time contract
Kaulig signed Daniel Hemric full-time for the current season after taking part in eight races with the team in 2022. He has finished four times in the top 10 so far this season, driving the #31 Chevy. However, as Dillon returns to the Cup Series full-time, Hemric will no longer be racing with Kaulig. He shared a heartfelt post on social media confirming the same.
"Cup racing, the pinnacle of our sport. I will forever love and appreciate the process of what it takes to prepare, both physically and mentally, to compete on Sundays. However, I will not return to Kaulig Racing in 2025 to continue that process."
As mentioned, Ty Dillon will be piloting the #10 Chevy and AJ Allmendinger will team up with him in the #16 car.
