Amy Earnhardt, wife of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Jr., recently shared a quirky habit of her husband's, offering fans a glimpse into his off-track personality. After her revelation, Dale Jr. jokingly admitted he might regret inviting her as a guest on Dirty Mo Media, the platform he owns and hosts.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Amy Earnhardt began their journey as a married couple on New Year's Eve 2016, exchanging vows at Childress Vineyards in Lexington, North Carolina, after their July 2015 engagement. The pair later welcomed two daughters, Isla Rose on April 30, 2018, and Nicole in October 2020, completing their family.

In a recent Dale Jr. Download podcast episode, the two-time Xfinity Series champion's wife was asked about the weirdest thing she had seen her husband buy. As she answered the question, she shared:

"He tends to hide the weird stuff and I'll find it. This goes back to feeling like another child in the house to take care of because he knows it's something he'll get nagged for. He just recently bought a bunch of candy that I intercepted," Amy Earnhardt said
"He used to eat fireballs. What he did with the middle part of it was to stick it the couch. And we didn't find them for a very long time. Our housekeeper, she calls Sonny out. She's like, 'Sonny, I don't know what this is, but there's a bunch of tiny little white pebbles underneath the couch. And they smell like cinnamon. And Sonny starts dying laughing. He's like, that's a damn fireball." she added

After sharing a laugh with all the co-hosts about his history of hiding candy, Earnhardt Jr. jokingly expressed how calling his wife on the show wasn't a smart idea.

"Bringing Amy on was a bad idea." he said.

On the racing front, Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s JR Motorsports celebrated a milestone as Justin Allgaier secured his first Xfinity Series championship, marking the team’s fourth title. Meanwhile, Dale Jr. made a nostalgic return to the track, driving the iconic #8 Budweiser Chevrolet in the Late Model at Florence Speedway, part of the grassroots zMAX CARS Tour he co-owns with Kevin Harvick.
