While some drivers opted for a vacation to another country during NASCAR's two-week break, Bubba Wallace was seen along with his wife Amanda at his teammate Tyler Reddick's wedding. Wallace uploaded a picture alongside his wife, both dressed in black, captioning it in an iconic 'James bond' style.

Reddick married Alexa DeLeon, his longtime girlfriend. The couple have been dating since 2012 and have a son together, named Beau. Beau was born shortly after Reddick won his second NASCAR Xfinity Series championship. The family of three, along with two rescue cats, currently live in Mooresville, North Carolina.

Wallace was present at the wedding wearing a black suit and a bow tie. Later, Wallace posted a picture with his wife on X [formerly twitter], and interestingly, the caption alluded to the way Ian Fleming's fictitious British undercover agent James Bond introduces himself saying, "The name's Bond, James Bond."

The 23XI driver wrote:

"The name’s Wallace…🕺💃"

Bubba Wallace and Amanda Carter tied the knot on December 31, 2022. The couple first met in high school, but started dating in 2016. Back in April this year, Bubba and Amanda announced that they were expecting their first child together in October.

Reflecting on the experience of being a mother for the first time, Amanda said in a recent Instagram story that she would miss being pregnant once their child is born.

Amid all this, her husband Bubba seems to have not lost sight of his goal amid the festive mood. He launched a 6-word claim towards his haters, especially those who say that Wallace is not a playoff-worthy driver.

"We thrive off counting us out"- Bubba Wallace on his playoff possibilities

Last year, several fans had opined that Bubba Wallace would not make it to the playoff rumble. However, he did. And now, after putting up a solid top-5 finish in the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway last Sunday, the Alabama native feels as confident as ever.

"We thrive off counting us out," Wallace exclaimed as reported by NASCAR. "You thought we’d be out in the (first) round, too, last year, didn’t you? We didn’t do that, either. Just keep on fighting, prove y’all wrong."

Starting 17th, Wallace led 26 laps in the crown jewel event, and won Stage 2, bagging 10 precious playoff points.

"Not the best start, but executed, and that’s what it’s all about," Wallace recalled. "And apparently we made up a lot of points, so just keep on digging."

Just a few weeks ago, Wallace was dangerously close to missing the playoffs. However, three top-10 finishes in the last four races have helped Wallace gather enough points to push him ahead in the point standings. As of now, Wallace sits just 7 points behind Trackhouse Racing driver Ross Chastain who currently holds the final playoff berth.
