NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace recently expressed his view on how mental health could impact certain factors of one's life. A graduate of the NASCAR Diversity Program, Wallace is the first African-American to become a full-time driver in NASCAR's top division.
Wallace competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, piloting the #23 Toyota for 23XI Racing. Throughout his eight-year NASCAR career, Wallace has claimed eight victories across various divisions, including two in the Cup Series, establishing himself as a key figure in the sport.
In a recent Instagram update, the 31-year-old shared pictures of his wife and kid and wrote about the importance of mental well-being in one's life.
"When the mentals are in check. it’s surreal how good life can be. Doing it with your best friend is what life is all about. Thriving," Wallace captioned his post.
Bubba Wallace's 2024 season started with challenges but showed improvement as the year progressed. Despite these strides, he missed the playoffs, reflecting the hurdles he faced in his campaign. Meanwhile, teammate Tyler Reddick secured the regular-season championship and advanced to the Championship 4.
The Alabama native and Amanda Carter first met in high school and reconnected years later during a college football game in 2015. Their bond grew stronger, culminating in a proposal at a scenic Oregon waterfall in June 2021. They married on December 31, 2022. Earlier this year, in September, the NASCAR couple were blessed with a son, Becks Hayden, who turns three months old tomorrow.

Meanwhile, Wallace, who narrowly missed the playoffs last season would be looking to make amends in the upcoming Cup Series campaign. Moreover, Wallace now has a third teammate, Riley Herbst, who will pilot Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin-owned 23XI Racing's third entry, the #35 Toyota Camry XSE.
