NASCAR Cup Series star Bubba Wallace was all fun and games ahead of the Chicago weekend. Wallace will take part in NASCAR's second-ever street race at the Chicago Street Course, where he will pilot his No. 23 Toyota for 23XI Racing.
Bubba Wallace is one driver who has been making waves in the motorsports world season after season. A former Kyle Busch Motorsports prospect who came through the ranks of the Truck Series, Wallace made his full-time Cup Series debut in 2018, signing for Richard Petty Motorsports.
While his Cup career did not kick off in the ways he would've hoped for, Wallace found his stride shortly after his move to the Denny Hamlin and Michael Jordan-owned 23XI Racing. The 30-year-old Alabama native secured two wins in his first two campaigns and went on to capture his first-ever playoff qualification in 2023.
The ongoing campaign in 2024 has seen Bubba Wallace display similar encouraging signs on the race track. The former Richard Petty Motorsports driver finds himself above the playoff cutline at the time of writing, looking set to contend for yet another NASCAR Cup Series championship.
Off the track, Wallace remains composed and enjoys a balanced life. In preparation for the upcoming Grant Park 165 race at the Chicago Street Course, Bubba and Amanda Wallace were seen enjoying a game night with friends Nico Banda and Tim Valles. Amanda shared a glimpse of their evening on her Instagram story, captioning it:
"Trying really hard to enjoy this game #ChainedTogether"
