Bubba Wallace's spotter, Freddie Kraft, recently hailed Kyle Larson on social media. Kraft took to his official X account to praise Larson's incredible drive in the Non-Wing Outlaw Micro Sprint at Tulsa Shootout last week.

All eyes are on Tulsa, Oklahoma currently as multiple NASCAR drivers have decided to give the Sprint car racing series a go amid the off-season break. Among all the drivers, Larson, a former dirt racing champion, grabbed most of the attention.

The Hendrick Motorsports driver claimed the Winged A-class and Winged Outlaw events last week and narrowly missed the Non-Wing Outlaw win. He lost the race to fellow NASCAR driver Christopher Bell in a photo finish last Sunday.

However, Larson's valiant try despite riding the wall earned him ample applause, something Kraft recognized as well. The spotter shared one of JOES Racing Products' latest videos on X, and wrote:

"The in car of this fool riding the wall is even more ridiculous than the replay lol."

After participating in three races at Tulsa Shootout last week, the #5 HMS driver is all set to race in the Chili Bowl Nationals from January 13 to January 18. The upcoming mega event in dirt racing will see a host of NASCAR drivers showing their mettle.

Besides Larson and Bell, Ty Gibbs, Chase Briscoe, JJ Yeley, Ricky Stenhouse Jr., and Kyle Busch will also be a part of the Super Bowl of midget racing set to take place at the SageNet Center next week.

Kyle Larson is a generational talent, hailed former NASCAR driver

Former NASCAR driver Mark Martin hailed Hendrick Motorsports' star driver Kyle Larson and termed him a generational talent. Martin, a former HMS driver, drove the #5 Chevrolet during his time as a racing driver. It is the same ride that Larson drives currently.

"As far as Kyle Larson is concerned, behind the wheel — I’m not going to go fanboy on him, but I’m going to tell you something, he’s a once-in-a-generation talent [that] we have the privilege to witness," Martin said via Chase Holden.

The #5 HMS driver is undoubtedly one of the most talented racing drivers in the current generation. He is also one of the most successful, given his age and experience. In 2024, he finished the season as the driver with most (six) wins.

His season statistics were also amog the best — six wins, 15 top fives, 18 top 10s, 12 stage wins, and 1700 laps led (the most by a driver). Larson's average start position was 8.771 and his average finish position was 12.914.

Larson will continue to drive for Rick Hendrick's team in 2025, and drive the #5 Valvoline Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 alongside his teammates Chase Elliott, Alex Bowman, and William Byron.
