NASCAR driver Bubba Wallace's spotter, Freddie Kraft, recently commented on a social media post by Wallace as the 23XI Racing driver prepares for the 2025 Cup Series season. Kraft jokingly remarked that Wallace stole his line after the driver shared self-motivating words in the post.

Wallace, who drives the No. 23 Toyota for 23XI Racing, competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series. In his eight-year NASCAR career, Wallace has achieved eight wins across various divisions, including two in the Cup Series, establishing himself as a key figure in the sport.

Following a tough campaign last year, Wallace wrote a stern and empowering note and shared it on X.

"2025 is gonna be a grind. Time to roll up the sleeves, grab a glove and get in the game! Let’s go to work!"

Upon reading this, his long-time spotter Freddie Kraft jokingly responded saying that Bubba Wallace copied his words.

"Wait a min… This MFer stole my line? 🤬" Kraft wrote.

Bubba Wallace faced a challenging 2024 Cup Series season, ending winless across 36 races and narrowly missing the playoffs. The Alabama native finished the year in 18th place. In contrast, his 23XI Racing teammate Tyler Reddick enjoyed a stellar season, earning the regular-season championship and concluding the year with a strong fourth-place finish overall.

Moreover, 23XI Racing's recent victory in the legal battle with NASCAR has helped them acquire their third charter from Stewart Haas Racing. Former Xfinity Series driver Riley Herbst, who was rumored to join the Michael Jordan and Denny Hamlin lead Cup Series team has been confirmed as their third full-time driver, set to pilot the #35 Toyota Camry XSE.

“I don’t know how people can discredit me now”: Bubba Wallace's new teammate Riley Herbst didn’t mince words following his 23XI Racing deal

23XI Racing's latest driver Riley Herbst did not shy away from making his feelings known about people reportedly discrediting his skills as a stock car racing driver. With his move confirmed to the Cup Series, Bubba Wallace, and Tyler Reddick's new teammate Herbst is confident about his Cup opportunity.

The 25-year-old made his NASCAR debut in the Xfinity Series in the 2018 Iowa 250 at Iowa Speedway. Throughout his 8-year stint in NASCAR, Herbst has secured three trips to victory lane, all in the Xfinity Series. He has also made eight race starts in NASCAR's top division where he secured two top-ten finishes.

In a November interview, Herbst was asked what he would like to say to his detractors by Insider Jordan Bianchi.

"A lot of people, I'm not going to say names but a lot of people will say that, 'X driver is the future of the sport,' and now I have the same number of wins as him. So I don't know how people can discredit me now," Riley Herbst responded.
