Bubba Wallace recently shared some moments enjoying the NASCAR off-season with his new family. Wallace brought his wife and son to the cold town of Aspen, though he wasn't sure if "little man" liked the weather.
Wallace is a 31-year-old NASCAR Cup Series driver under 23XI Racing. After marrying Amanda Cartier in December 2022, the couple welcomed their son Becks Hayden in September this year during the Kansas Speedway race weekend.
Per Instagram, the No. 23 driver posted photos from their Aspen trip including Becks crying during a photo-op.
"Still can’t tell if little man likes the cold," Wallace wrote.
The family explored the town sporting winter outfits from Columbia, Wallace's sponsor in the NASCAR Cup Series. Columbia is one of the Toyota pilot's major sponsors along with the U.S. Air Force and Leidos.
The Aspen trip came on the heels of Ryan Blaney's winter wedding in the town. Wallace was invited to witness Blaney tying the knot with long-time partner Gianna Tulio at Hotel Jerome in Colorado.
Wallace and Blaney have been friends since childhood. They have climbed the racing ranks to the point where they now compete against each other in the premier series.
Other NASCAR drivers who joined the celebration were Chase Elliott, Austin Cindric, and Dale Earnhardt Jr.
For the upcoming season, the Alabama native will still drive for 23XI Racing amid the team's ongoing lawsuit battle against NASCAR. He will compete alongside teammates Tyler Reddick and Riley Herbst, 23XI's newest addition to the driver lineup.
The 2025 season will commence at Daytona International Speedway for the prestigious Daytona 500 race on February 16.
Bubba Wallace shares playful banter with Daniel Suarez over photo with his son
Bubba Wallace recently shared a photo with his son Becks Hayden on social media, expressing happiness and fulfillment. However, Daniel Suarez jokingly spoiled the post by asking whether the kid was Wallace's because "he's good-looking."
In an Instagram post, Wallace wrote:
"When everything is right in life."
Meanwhile, Daniel Suarez commented:
"You sure is yours!? He’s good looking."
Wallace replied with a hilarious response, saying:
"@daniel_suarezg jury is still out on that brother."
Bubba Wallace and Daniel Suarez are long-time buddies who got to know each other more in NASCAR's Drive for Diversity program. Wallace is the only Black driver racing full-time in the premier series, while Suarez is a Mexican-American driver. In addition, Kyle Larson joins them in the club as a Japanese-American driver himself.
Wallace and Suarez also love to have fun with each other on the track. They were caught flipping a middle finger to each other during race weekends.
The Mexican driver will return to the Cup Series next year with Trackhouse Racing. Driving the No. 99 Chevrolet Camry, he will run alongside teammate Ross Chastain and the newest addition to the team, Shane van Gisbergen.
