With 13 races done in the Craftsman Truck Series so far, Nick Sanchez is currently third in the driver's championship. With an overall impressive performance in the season till now, rumors of Sanchez moving up the ladder have begun circulating.
After spending his early days in go-kart racing, Sanchez tried his luck with stock car racing. He was selected under NASCAR's 'Drive for Diversity' program to drive with Rev Racing. Sanchez participated in both the Whelen All-American as well as K&N Pro Series in 2019.
He later raced in the ARCA Menards series for two years, before getting a shot at NASCAR's Truck Series in 2023. Showcasing his racecraft, the #2 driver won the 'Rookie of the Year' award, which has now caught the attention of teams in the Cup Series.

A brief look at Nick Sanchez's 2024 NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series season with Rev Racing
After finishing his first season in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series on a high note, Sanchez began the 2024 season strong. The 2023 'Rookie of the Year' won the season-opener at Daytona International Speedway, gaining 42 regular series and 5 Playoff points.
However, the 23-year-old racer was unable to maintain this momentum in the next four races at Atlanta Motor Speedway, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, Bristol Motor Speedway, and Circuit of The Americas. He finished 5th, 17th, 17th, and 18th.
After revisiting the performances from the data collected, Sanchez delivered better results from Martinsville Speedway. The Florida-based driver managed to win one race. He also added nine top 10 and seven top 5 finishes, along with two pole positions.
In 13 races so far, Sanchez has amassed 477 points in the regular series and 11 points for the Playoffs. He is currently in third position in the driver's championship, behind the leaders Christian Eckes and Corey Heim, by 89 and 49 points.
Sanchez's top five races in the 2024 Truck Series season were at Texas Motor Speedway (third place with 51 points), World Wide Technology Raceway (third place with 50 points), Charlotte Motor Speedway (first place with 43 points), Daytona International Speedway (first place with 42 points), and Martinsville Speedway (fourth place with 39 points).
