Brad Keselowski's co-owned RFK Racing garnered disapproval from a fan after discussing an idea to reveal the drivers' liveries on its haulers. The team wanted to get fans' opinions on the modified designs of the haulers.
Paint jobs in NASCAR are quite special for both the drivers and the fans, as they give them a unique identity while racing against over 35 cars on the field. These liveries are sometimes revealed prior to the race; however, teams sometimes decide to keep their fans in suspense about how their car would look.
RFK Racing came up with a creative idea to have haulers that incorporated the imagery of the driver's car they are carrying. The post gained quite a bit of traction on X, but there was one user who gave a straight disapproval to the idea.
"How do we feel about NASCAR hauler designs that incorporate imagery of the race car 🤔," RFK asked on X.
"No," the fan replied.
RFK Racing then replied to the user, stating:
"Can't please everyone😔," replied RFK.
While this would have been a comedic conversation considering RFK's replies, the user posted a genuine reason for why they wouldn't want to see such trucks. The user mentioned that it is quite suspenseful for the fans to see the haulers pull up and wait for the livery to be revealed. Having the imagery of the cars on the hauler would take away that element of surprise.
"Sorry just my opinion. I think the suspense for a fan is when the hauler is opened and we got to see the car graphics would take away from that experience."
Brad Keselowski to reunite with former crew chief at RFK Racing in 2025
RFK Racing recently announced that Jeremy Bullins will return to working with Brad Keselowski in the upcoming NASCAR Cup Series season. The two worked together at Team Penske and shared a remarkable partnership in 2020 and 2021.
Matt McCall was Keselowski's crew chief at RFK Racing but parted ways with the team after he joined Spire Motorsports as the Director of Vehicle Performance. This made way for the team to sign Bullins, who is rather excited for the role.
Recently, speaking on SiriusXM NASCAR Radio, he mentioned his dream of always becoming a crew chief and having finally achieved that, he hopes to have a successful season with Brad Keselowski in 2025.
"Like, you know, the analogy that I gave a couple people was, you know, kids grew up want to be astronauts or firemen or whatever. And I wanted to crew chief a cup car. So I'm doing what I've always wanted to do," he said. "I really looked at this opportunity as an opportunity to be successful with Brad again. We were able to win some races and have good points finishes and do all those things. And just kind of felt like we could try to build that again."
Brad Keselowski joined RFK Racing in 2022 in the capacity of a co-owner and driver. He pilots the #6 Ford on the field.
