WBR driver Harrison Burton and his fiancée Jenna Petty recently enjoyed a trip to the Bahamas during NASCAR's two-week break for the Paris Olympics. Petty shared a heartfelt message alongside a picture of the couple on her Instagram story, expressing her excitement for their upcoming marriage.

The son of NASCAR veteran Jeff Burton, Harrison quickly ascended to the Cup Series, becoming the first driver born in the 2000s to compete in NASCAR's top division. However, Burton is left without a seat in the Cup Series for the 2025 season, as WBR announced Josh Berry as his replacement earlier this year.

As NASCAR announced a two-week break, drivers got the opportunity to take some well-earned rest. Jenna Petty, Burton's fiancée, posted a photo of the two of them on her Instagram story during their trip to the Caribbean Islands. She wrote,

The couple was accompanied by NASCAR Cup Series driver Todd Gilliland and his wife, Marissa Gilliland, as they took some time off to relax and recuperate. Here are a few photos Jenny Petty posted on Instagram from their vacation. The post is captioned:

Burton and Petty have reportedly been together since 2017. The couple got engaged earlier this year, on the 27th of March. Petty is a dancer at a North Carolina-based dance school and is also a member of Dance Productions #TheRemix.

"Never news you want to hear" - Harrison Burton responds to WBR replacing him with Josh Berry

Earlier this year, as Harrison Burton and his team were strategizing for the Chicago street race, they unexpectedly learned that he would be replaced by Stewart-Haas Racing's Josh Berry in the #21 Ford for the 2025 season. However, Burton displayed true sportsmanship in accepting Wood Brothers Racing's decision to replace him with Josh Berry in the #21 Ford for the 2025 season.

Burton shared his response to the unfortunate news via a post on X (@HBurtonRacing):

"Obviously never good news and never news you want to hear as a race car driver. But at the end of the day, that’s the way this business works and we need to put that behind us and we still have a great opportunity to go try and get the Wood Brothers their 100th win this season. They’ve been really good to me and my family, still have been over these last few weeks," Burton expressed
"With all this stuff developing, our team is as motivated as ever to try to get them to win No. 100, and I’m in that same boat," he added.

Burton has had an underwhelming season thus far, securing only one top-ten finish. Currently sitting at P32 in the driver standings, the 23-year-old will need a significant improvement in his performance to secure a seat for the upcoming season.
