Connor Hall is all set to make his debut in the NASCAR Camping Truck Series at Richmond next month. The CARS Late Model driver will race under McAnally-Hilgemann Racing at Richmond Raceway on Saturday, August 10, and is set to drive the #91 A-All Mini Storage Chevrolet Silverado RST.
The 27-year-old is a revered talent across multiple racing series. He is currently the leader of the zMax CARS Tour Late Model Stock series and has a 29-point cushion. Besides leading the Championship, he also leads the Virginia Triple Crown standings.
Hall, who hails from Hampton, Virginia, is the defending NASCAR Weekly Series national champion. One can expect him to use all his expertise in racing and implement it when he takes the #91 Silverado for a ride on his Truck Series debut.
"Every driver wants the chance at an opportunity like this, and I want to make the most of it”, Hall said (via Jayski). “Of all the places on the Truck Series schedule, I think Richmond will fit my driving style the best and the kind of racing we have in late model stocks can translate well."
"I’m incredibly excited for it, and I have to thank Bill McAnally, TowneBank, A-All Mini Storage, and everyone at MHR (McAnally-Hilgemann Racing) for making this happen," he added.
Connor Hall will take part in the CARS Tour championship on Friday, August 9, at Ace Speedway before he moves to Richmond for the Truck Series race. His debut race in the Truck Series is set to take place at 7:30 PM ET on August 10.
