Chase Briscoe and Tony Stewart during SHR Announcement

Tony Stewart and Leah Pruett recently announced their pregnancy, and Chase Briscoe, a father himself, chimed in with some friendly advice for the new dad-to-be. The #14 Stewart-Haas Racing driver, who's expecting twins and already has a three-year-old, advised Stewart to steer clear of giving soda cookies during the toddler years.

Chase Briscoe is in his fourth year in Cup racing with Stewart-Haas Racing. In 2022, he even clinched a top-10 finish in the season standings. And in his most recent USA Today 301 race at New Hampshire, Briscoe finished P2. With Stewart-Haas Racing winding down after the 2024 season, all eyes are on Briscoe as he's expected to join Joe Gibbs Racing and take over the #19 car from the retiring Martin Truex Jr. next season.

Last year, Stewart shared that he and Leah Pruett were planning to expand their family. And because of that, Pruett had to take a break from NHRA racing. Now, with the couple's exciting pregnancy announcement, Chase Briscoe offered his congratulations along with a bit of parenting advice to his boss. Briscoe suggested:

"One piece of parenting advice for you is I don’t recommend giving them soda cookies during the toddler stage. Congrats!" via X.

Amidst this personal joy, Tony Stewart also has some professional celebrations on the horizon.

Dodge Brand extends its partnership with Tony Stewart-owned Stewart Racing in NHRA

Since 2022, Dodge Brand has been a vital partner with Tony Stewart Racing [TSR], winning 15 NHRA national event victories and the 2023 NHRA Mission World Funny Car Championship with Matt Hagan behind the wheel of the Direct Connection Dodge//SRT Hellcat.

For 2024, Stewart himself has taken over the controls of the TSR Direct Connection Dodge//SRT Top Fuel car, stepping in for his wife, Leah Pruett. Pruett, who secured third place in the 2023 NHRA standings, has paused her driving duties this year to focus on starting a family with Stewart, the team owner.

And now the Dodge Brand has renewed its partnership with Tony Stewart Racing [TSR] Nitro, maintaining its commitment to fielding two entries- Top Fuel and Funny Car- in the National Hot Rod Association (NHRA) Mission Drag Racing Series. Leah Pruett, who began her journey with Dodge and Mopar in 2016, remains a fixture at races, actively participating in Tony Stewart Racing's strategic planning and team operations.

On another front, Tony Stewart is working on the sale of his Stewart-Haas racing charters following Gene Haas's decision to keep one. It's rumored that one charter might be bought up by Front Row Motorsports for $25 million, $15 million less than the latest charter sale for which Spire Motorsport paid $40 million. Also, the retained charter by Gene Haas is expected to be piloted by Cole Custer.
