NASCAR driver and 2016 ARCA Racing Series champion Chase Briscoe recently shared an end-of-the-year story on his Instagram account. The story includes a picture of him and his wife, Marissa Cooper Briscoe, posing in front of a Christmas tree.
The story is humorously captioned as being their last pic together until the next year.
"Probably our last pic together until next year," Briscoe wrote in his story.
As a part of what has been a year worth remembering for the Briscoes, in October, the couple welcomed twins, adding to their growing family which includes their three-year-old son, Brooks.
As far as Chase Briscoe’s 2024 season in racing is concerned, he drove the No. 40 Ford for Stewart Haas Racing and will be changing to the No. 19 Camry XSE for Joe Gibbs Racing in 2025. During the 2024 season, he finished in 14th position in the NASCAR Cup series standings and booked two wins to his name, including the Southern 500 at Darlington.
Previously, he won the Bill France Four Crown in 2016. He has also been crowned the Rookie of the Year in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, Xfinity Series (2019), and Cup Series (2021). Briscoe was also nominated as the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Most Popular Driver in 2017.
Chase Briscoe and his wife Marissa welcomed twins Cooper and Colin earlier this year
Earlier this year in October, Marissa Briscoe shared the news of giving birth to twins, turning the Briscoe family of three into five. In an Instagram post shared at the time, Marissa wrote:
“They are here! Mama and babies are healthy 🤍 Thank you, Jesus!”
The announcement was met with an outpouring of love and support from the NASCAR community, including messages from Taylor Nemechek, Marissa Gilliland, and other figures who are also a part of NASCAR.
The previously confidential names of the twins have now been revealed with the Briscoes naming their son Cooper Banks and their daughter Colin Ivy. The couple initially asked fans on social media to suggest names for a boy and a girl. Fans and even NASCAR journalist Bob Pockrass came in with their suggestions, with Pockrass proposing the names “Toni and Stewart” referring to Chase’s team boss at the time, Tony Stewart.
Before the birth of the twins, Brooks Wayne Cunningham Briscoe, Chase Briscoe, and Marissa’s first son was born 2 years into their marriage, in the year 2021. The coming of Brooks was truly a special moment for the couple after having experienced two miscarriages before his birth.
At just 3 years old, Brooks has already shown keen interest in the sport of racing. During a Q&A session on Instagram, when Briscoe was asked about Brook’s favorite driver other than him, he took to the platform to share an adorable photograph of the 3-year-old and tagged Noah Gragson to answer the question.
