Chase Briscoe visited a lucky fan with Stewart-Haas Racing to deliver them a special gift. It was a custom hood sponsored by Mahindra.
Earlier this week, SHR, along with Mahinda AG North America, surprised their special "no. 14" fan. They paid them an unexpected visit with their #14 Ford Mustang Dark Horse driver, Chase Briscoe. Furthermore, they gifted the fan a customized car hood sponsored by Mahindra.
"Special delivery! @chasebriscoe_14 and @mahindraagnorthamerica surprised a lucky No. 14 fan this week."
Briscoe has raced with the team since his Cup Series debut in 2021. He has gathered one win so far (Pheonix, 2022) and continues to remain within the top-20 contention during races.
He was expected to continue with the team in the next season as well but SHR announced their closure at the end of the current season. The drivers were not informed about this decision so it was quite a challenge for them to find a seat in the future.
But Chase Briscoe will be continuing with Joe Gibbs Racing in 2025 as Martin Truex Jr's replacement. The latter will retire from full-time racing at the end of this season.
Denny Hamlin talks about expectations from Chase Briscoe at JGR in 2025
Hamlin, driver of the #11 Toyota Camry, revealed the expectations at Joe Gibbs Racing from Briscoe.
He said that Chase Briscoe excels on some particular tracks. He added that he is "excited" to compare his performance with the 29-year-old in a similar-performing car, saying (at 54:56)
"I think that Chase has a very good skill set, certainly at some tracks he excels really well and I'll be excited to compare myself when he's in the same car.
"I do think he'll bring something to the table, always unique perspectives from drivers that have been at another organization, another manufacturer, all that will be intriguing as he comes into our meetings next year."
As mentioned, Briscoe is set to replace Truex Jr. as he retires from full-time racing at the end of this season. However, he recently mentioned that he might return for a few races, including the Daytona 500. He also hinted towards racing in the Truck Series, swapping with his brother Ryan Truex.
Chase Briscoe, meanwhile, progresses through his final season with Stewart-Haas Racing (which is also the team's final season). He is currently a little out of place for qualifying in the playoffs since he sits without a race or stage win so far in the season.
