NASCAR driver Kyle Larson and his teammates shared their thoughts on who would be best to hike the popular hiking path that stretches about 2,200 miles across the United States.

As NASCAR is on a two-week off, Hendrick Motorsports drivers Kyle Larson, William Byron, Alex Bowman and Chase Elliott had some fun debating who among them might hike the Appalachian Trail.

When asked about who would be the most likely to hike the long-distance trail, the drivers had different opinions. The $12M-worth Kyle Larson (according to Celebrity Net Worth) thinks Chase Elliott would be the best choice for the hike.

"I feel like Chase is an outdoorsish kind of guy,” Larson said.
“Wants to say William too just because you know, I would, I would definitely do it too. I don't see Alex doing it though,” he added.

The Appalachian Trail crosses 14 states from Georgia to Maine and usually takes between five and seven months to complete. It's the longest hiking-only footpath in the world and is a challenging hike that only about a quarter of hikers complete.

The No. 24 Chevrolet driver, William Byron was unaware about the trail.

“What is the Appalachian Trail,” Byron asked.
"I'm gonna go with Alex cause he goes to the mountains. I've, I've seen him post about it." he later answered.

Alex Bowman agreed with Byron and picked himself for the challenge.

“Love me a hike,” said Bowman.

However, Chase Elliot, the No. 9 Chevrolet driver, had a different view.

"Of these choices, probably me. Which is really saying something because you probably aren't gonna find me on the Appalachian Trail Chase said.
