Christian Eckes dominated the Rackley Roofing 200 race leading all the 150 laps and becoming the first driver that led every lap in 12 years. Also, in the entire Truck series history, he became only the second driver to lead from green to checkered on his way to a win at Nashville Superspeedway in Lebanon, Tenn.

Previously, Timothy Peters made NASCAR history in 2012 at Bristol by becoming the first driver to lead every lap of a Truck Series race. During the UNOH 200 at Bristol Motor Speedway, Peters moved from his second-place starting position to snatch the lead from pole-sitter Cale Gale right at the green flag.

He piloted his way to his second victory of that season and the fifth of his career. His run vaulted him ahead in the standings—a notable feat especially considering the misfortune of top rookie Ty Dillon, who, while running in the top five, ran out of gas during the final restart and ended up 21st.

Now, Christian Eckes has matched the achievement. Beginning the Rackley Roofing 200 from third on the grid, Eckes took command from the outset, leading all 150 laps and clinching victory in every stage. His dominant display garnered a perfect score of 60 points, bolstering his lead in the series standings. The win, his third of the season and eighth overall, underscored his prowess on the track.

Christian Eckes' McAnally-Hilgemann Racing teammate, Daniel Dye, finished second place, marking his best finish to date. After the race, Dye expressed how this result not only lifted his spirits but also strengthened his push for the playoffs. Corey Heim, who clinched third place, bounced back from a challenging final pit stop after stage two, which cost him seven spots. He managed to claw his way back to the front, edging out Rajah Caruth, who settled for fourth.

Christian Eckes aims to carry the momentum at Pocono as well

Christian Eckes has led at least one lap in all 12 races and racked up a total of 614 laps at the front of the pack—the most of any driver in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series (NCTS) this year. With this momentum, Christian Eckes is getting ready for the CRC Brakleen 175 at Pocono Raceway, aiming for his fourth victory of the season and looking to further cement his position atop the championship standings.

Eckes has a history at Pocono that suggests he could be a strong contender; his average finish at the track is 12.8 across five starts. His standout performance there came in 2019 when he climbed from a 13th-place start to a 4th-place finish. More recently, Eckes has consistently performed well at Pocono, finishing in the top 10 in the past two years—7th in 2023 and 8th in 2022.

Amidst this success, there's talk about Christian Eckes possibly making the leap to the Cup series next year. With Front Row Motorsports reportedly acquiring a new charter and Michael McDowell departing, rumors suggest Eckes might be in line for a promotion to NASCAR's premier series.
