After his recent win in Sport Clips Haircuts VFW Help a Hero 200 at Darlington Raceway, Christopher Bell has edged past Joe Gibbs Racing's star, Denny Hamlin, in total Xfinity Series wins. Although he's still a long way from reaching Kyle Busch's impressive record, Bell's latest triumph over Cole Custer—his second Xfinity win of the season—puts him ahead of drivers, including Denny Hamlin in the Xfinity win tally.

In the NASCAR Cup Series, Christopher Bell has consistently shown his abilities by securing at least two wins annually since 2022. But he is not much behind in the Xfinity Series as well. Despite only racing part-time in the Xfinity Series for JGR since 2021, and taking a year's break in 2023, Bell returned with a bang this year, winning both races he entered. His recent victory marks his 19th in the Xfinity Series, surpassing Denny Hamlin’s career total of 18 Xfinity wins gathered over two decades.

However, Bell's total still falls well short of Kyle Busch's 90 wins. Despite this, Christopher Bell has now become the second most successful NASCAR Xfinity Series driver in terms of victories.

Behind him on the list are drivers like Denny Hamlin and Joey Logano, each with 18 wins, followed by Ty Gibbs, who has 12 wins in the NASCAR Xfinity Series.

Christopher Bell is ready for back-to-back races at Darlington, despite the sweltering temperatures

After clinching victory at the Sport Clips Haircuts VFW Help a Hero 200 at Darlington Raceway, Christopher Bell shared during his post-race interview that while the temperatures inside the car were intense, the scheduling works in his favor. He noted:

"I mean, it's hot. It's really, really hot. But, I think I got a lot of time to recover for tomorrow. It's a night race. So, I think it's beneficial to do these things and especially race tracks like Darlington where it's really tough. It was a bummer whenever I really started falling off there at the end of third stage and then Sheldon got by me, but it's never over until it's over. I've learned that many of times."

Having already won three races so far in the NASCAR Cup series in the regular season, Bell will have the last chance to improve his driver standings position. The 29-year-old is currently at P6 with 737 points, 86 behind the leader Tyler Reddick.

Since a driver can only earn a maximum of 60 points in a race, even if he manages to win both the initial stages and the Cook Out Southern 500 race at Darlington, it won't be possible for Christopher Bell to win the regular season championship title. However, he'd definitely be able to improve on his playoff standings position.
