NASCAR driver Christopher Bell's wife Morgan Bell took to her social media handle to congratulate the JGR driver for his success in the Tulsa Shootout on Sunday. Bell emerged victorious in a high-profile contest that featured a last-gasp finish.

Christopher Bell, among other Joe Gibbs Racing drivers, was disallowed from participating in non-NASCAR races, beginning from 2023. However, those restrictions were lifted in November last year, just in time for Bell to register himself for the iconic dirt race, the Tulsa Shootout, in his home state of Oklahoma.

A three-time Chili Bowl Nationals winner, Bell was back at his sparkling best at the event. Competing in the Non-Wing Outlaw feature, the 30-year-old driver delivered a historic photo finish, one that will go down in Tulsa history books.

Christopher Bell and Kyle Larson engaged in an intense battle, with Larson gaining momentum in the final five laps by aggressively riding the top side of the track. Despite Larson’s dive below Bell on the final lap, the latter managed to hold his lead and clinched the win by a mere 0.188 seconds.

Following the win, Christopher Bell's wife Morgan took to her X handle to shower some love on her husband's success. Reacting to the images and clips of Bell celebrating with the Golden Driller trophy, Morgan reposted the post with a simple:

Christopher Bell ecstatic upon iconic Tulsa win

Christopher Bell’s victory at the 2025 Tulsa Shootout marked his fifth Golden Driller trophy — three from the Chili Bowl Nationals and now two from the Tulsa Shootout. Addressing the enthusiastic crowd, Bell expressed his deep affection for the venue, saying (via Speed Sport):

"I love this place. I love this place with all my heart."

He explained how his decision to maintain a slider line and seek grip on the dirt proved crucial in fending off Larson’s advances. The 30-year-old added:

"Guys, I don’t know, that was a helluva race. I lost the Chili Bowl by running the top on entry. So, I felt like if I just kept running the slider line and there was a lot of good dirt getting off on corners two and four. I felt like if I could keep sliding across and getting off really hard, it was gonna be hard for him to get me."

Bell held a more conservative line in the closing laps as he searched for grip to remain ahead of Larson. While risky, Bell’s decision paid off. Praising Larson’s final maneuver, the JGR driver added:

“He made a helluva corner down there on the bottom on that last corner to make it scary coming to the checkered.”

Christopher Bell now has a shot at a fourth Golden Driller of his career in the Chili Bowl Nationals. The event is set to begin January 12.
