NASCAR insider left Tyler Reddick in a dilemma
Days before the wedding, Reddick was invited to an episode of 'Rubbin' Is Racing', a NASCAR podcast presented by "Barstool Sports". It was then that the show's co-host Large took the opportunity to ask Tyler Reddick to make a difficult choice.
The show is hosted by Large and Spider, two NASCAR enthusiasts and Barstool Sports personalities. Large demanded that Reddick must invite at least one of the two hosts to the latter's wedding. Now, the question was, who would that be?
"Gun to your head right now. You have to invite one of us. Spider or me," Large said. "One of us is going to be insulted. Who's coming to the wedding and who's going to be staying home waiting to get a picture sent to him?"
Reddick was in a fix for a while. Luckily for the 23XI Racing driver, he and Spider had recently spent some time and had dinner during a charity event organized by the NASCAR Foundation. Reflecting on the same, Reddick said,
"I got to hang out with Spider the other night and have dinner with him. It was a good time. So, I'm gonna have to go with Large."
"I'm not offended," Spider said.
"That's a great way to answer," Large added.
With the festivities over and Reddick set to return to the race track, all eyes are on the August 11 race at Richmond Raceway. The 400-lap race will air live on NBC Sports and the USA Network. Fans can listen to radio updates on MRN and SiriusXM NASCAR Radio.
