Kelly LaJoie, wife of NASCAR Cup Series driver Corey LaJoie, took to social media to share the family's bedtime routine with their two young children. The post comes not long after the family took a road trip together.
In an Instagram story post, Kelly showed her followers that their "bedtime routine" consisted of Corey climbing up from the bottom of their kids' bunk bed in a humorous way to play with the kids as they laugh in enjoyment. The wife of the former driver of the #7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet posted a short clip and penned a caption that read:
"What bedtime routine looks like in the LaJoie household"
Prior to that, Kelly shared some photos from the family road trip. One included a humorous image of one of the couple's kids crashing out on the floor of the family RV instead of one of the nearby couches. Kelly pointed this out with a caption that read:
"Of all places to nap. He chooses the floor"
Kelly would later post a video of one of her children swinging off a monkey bar after the family had returned home from the road trip. She jokingly explained how she was ready to unwind and drink a bottle of wine after a lengthy day on the road.
"Finally home 12 hr drive ✅ Find me in the bottom of a wine bottle," Kelly wrote.
On the racing side of things, it was a rather tough year for LaJoie amid his fourth season piloting the #7 Spire Motorsports Chevrolet. The Concord, North Carolina native posted three top 10s, one top five and finished 33rd in the points standings.
Towards the end of the season, LaJoie left Spire Motorsports and joined Rick Ware Racing to drive the #51 car, as part of a driver trade with Justin Haley, who took over the #7 machine. LaJoie ran the final seven races of the season with RWR and finished a best of 14th at Las Vegas.
Corey LaJoie doesn't have a ride for the 2025 season
After a difficult 2024 season, Corey LaJoie has yet to secure a ride in any of the three major touring series for 2025. However, Rick Ware Racing hasn't announced their driver for the #51 for the 2025 campaign yet, leaving the possibility open that LaJoie could retain the ride.
LaJoie hasn't won a race in any of NASCAR's three major series yet. He burst onto the Cup scene full-time in 2017 behind the wheel of the #83 Burger King Racing Toyota. He spent one year with the team before piloting the #32 car part-time in 2018. LaJoie then moved to full-time in the #32 car in 2019 and 2020 before going to Spire Motorsports in 2021.
