Apart from being a former NASCAR Cup Series driver and podcaster, Dale Earnhardt Jr. is an active gamer. He recently dropped a major update about the new NASCAR game being developed by the popular online multiplayer racing platform iRacing set to release in 2025. He asked his fans to actively contribute their ideas for the game.
Dale Jr. is the son of NASCAR legend Dale Earnhardt Sr., and he followed in his father's footsteps. He started competing in the Xfinity Series and clinched two titles with 24 wins in his 28-year career. The North Carolina native then moved to the Cup Series in 1999 and bagged 26 wins in 631 starts in his 19-year career. He retired from the sport in 2017 and invested in several business ventures.
Dale Jr. dropped the update on the developing game and mentioned that they are trying to find a new soundtrack for the game. However, the NASCAR Hall of Fame driver was not sure about the track and asked his fans to contribute to finding the right song for the game.
"Me and folks at @iRacing are starting the process of curating a soundtrack to the new Nascar console game. What songs absolutely have to be considered??? @iRacingMyers Be sure to tag any artist!" stated Dale Earnhardt Jr.
iRacing has been NASCAR's official gaming partner since October 2023, after the racing association parted ways with Motorsport Games' subsidiary and 704Games. iRacing is not a mere game; it is a tool for divers to hone their skills, and William Byron gave credit to the gaming organization for his first Road Course Cup win last year.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. shares his experience playing "Hell Let Loose," a World War II combat game
Former NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. spends his free time gaming with his friends and colleagues. He also partnered up with iRacing to develop the next-gen NASCAR game. Dale Jr. expressed his views on the first-person shooter video game "Hell Let Loose" on his podcast Dale Jr. Download.
The Hell Let Loose is a multiplayer tactical shooter game developed in 2021 and is supported by Windows, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and S. The battle scenes are based on Western, North African, and Eastern fronts of the WW2 platoon level. The game is known for its insane graphics, giving users a satisfactory experience.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. shared his experience playing the game with his co-hosts and said:
"Hell Let Loose is a first-person shooter, World War II era, and we played sometimes, TJ. But I like automatic riflemen. I don't know why I feel like that gives me an edge, but it probably doesn't. A lot of people go straight toward the objective. I kind of like to go away. I'm a flanker. I'm flanking. I'm like acres away." (0:06 onwards).
"The commander comes over. Junior, what are you doing way over there? Because they can see where your guys are. Yeah, the commander's cussing at you. What are you doing down there? And then when you meet somebody, you're like, I caught the flankers down here. What do you think I'm doing? Down here, catching the other flankers. Don't tell me how to play. Oh man, I hate that," he added (0:40 onwards).
The Hell Get Loose is a platform where Dale Earnhardt Jr. showcases his unique strategic moves to his teammates with bold gameplay.
