NASCAR Hall of Fame driver Dale Earnhardt Jr. recently reposted an Instagram story shared by his friend and country musician Tim Dugger, featuring his High Rock Vodka venture with his wife, Amy Earnhardt. Dugger went to a well-renowned American restaurant, Texas Roadhouse, and had the famous 'Dale Yeah!' drink.
Dale Jr. and his wife announced their new premium handcrafted vodka brand, High Rock, in 2022, produced at Sugarlands' distillery in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. The brand uses a Lincoln County Process, which distills the vodka seven times before filtering it thrice and passing it through sugar maple charcoal to remove impurities.
Earnhardt Jr. announced the partnership with the famous American steakhouse Texas Roadhouse last year. The restaurant, famous for its hand-cut steaks and fall-off-the-bone ribs, created a special drink from the High Rock vodka and named it the "Dale Yeah!" drink. The cocktail is created by combining some orange juice with Junior's premium handcrafted vodka and served with a small bucket of roasted peanuts.
Junior's friend Tim Dugger recently went to Texas Roadhouse and ordered the "Dale Yeah!" drink and shared it on his Instagram story, tagging the latter and his wife. Earnhardt then reshared the story on his account.
Here is a snapshot of the story:
Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Dugger once went to an Irish bar and earned a compliment from the bartender.
"'I'm surprised y'all can stand':" Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Tim Dugger earned compliments on their drinking prowess from the locals in Ireland
Two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion Dale Earnhardt Jr. is known to be an avid beer drinker, and he once shared a story from his vacation trip to Ireland about going out for drinks with his friend Tim Dugger. In an episode of 'The Dale Jr. Download,' Junior revealed he went to a pub with Dugger and ended up having lunch and dinner there.
The former NASCAR driver pointed out that the duo didn't hop bars but simply switched tables, writing:
"I don't mind bar-hopping. But bar-hopping can take a little bit out of you. And sometimes you get to the second or third bar and you think, 'You know damn, I liked the first one better."
The situation led to the duo spending a long time in a particular pub and drinking a lot, something which earned them a compliment from the bartender.
"What I was impressed with is we had sat there for seven hours, six-seven hours, and so when we closed out, the bartender is like, 'I'm really impressed.' He's like, 'I'm surprised y'all can stand.' I feel like if the Irish compliment your drinking you've done good," Dugger said.
After the trip to Ireland, Dale Jr. appreciated the well-renowned Irish beer Guinness. His perspective about the beer changed during his trip.
"I've never really been a guinness drinker, never. I thought it was thick as motoroil. If you've never drank it, it looks like its super thick. That's all I drank, guinness, the whole time," Dale Earnhardt Jr. stated.
Earnhardt Jr. was surprised by the nature of the beer and how light it felt.
