Former NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s wife Amy shared a glimpse of one of the Christmas presents she received this year from her daughter, Isla. Amy Earnhardt took to her Instagram to show off the gift, a friendship bracelet from when the mom and daughter went to a Taylor Swift concert earlier this year.
Isla Rose, who is the Earnhardts' first daughter, gave her mother two friendship bracelets. The bracelets are heavily associated with Taylor Swift's Eras Tour since they are made by Swift's fans and shared with other fans attending the concert. Amy shared a short video of the bracelets she received from her eldest daughter with the caption:
"Isla's gift :) T. Swift bracelets from our trip"
The Hall of Famer's wife and daughters attended the Taylor Swift concert in Indianapolis earlier this year, and Amy posted about their outing, which included a reference to the friendship bracelets:
"@taylorswift you made a tiny girls dream come true in Indy! She may have fallen out during Bad Blood (one of her favorite songs) but it was an epic experience! It was truly the best show I’ve ever seen. We laughed, we cried, we sang our hearts out and came home with about 100 friendship bracelets," captioned Amy on Instagram.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. and his wife have been together since 2011 and made their relationship public at the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Champions Week Awards Ceremony in December of that year. They have been married since 2016 and have two daughters, Isla Rose Earnhardt who was born in 2018, and Nicole Lorraine Earnhardt, who was born in 2020.
A two-time NASCAR Xfinity Series champion, Earnhardt Jr. competed in the Cup Series from 1999 to 2017. During his time in the Cup Series, he accumulated twenty-six wins, fifteen poles, and had 631 starts.
The two-time Daytona 500 winner is now president and co-owner of JR Motorsports, an Xfinity Series team that has garnered 88 wins and four championships in the sport. Earnhardt Jr. also hosts a podcast, 'Dale Jr. Download'.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. shared a career highlight on social media
The former Hendrick Motorsports driver shared a clip of his Daytona 500 win from 2014 on Instagram. The #88 driver posted the video showing the final few moments of one of his landmark victories in NASCAR, and his time in victory lane.
The caption of the post is a quote from Dale Jr. after his second win at the historic race track:
"Winning this race is the greatest feeling that you can feel in this sport"
Dale Earnhardt Jr. reflected recently on what the victory meant to him, a win that came to the driver after he entered the 2014 season while going through a 55-race winless streak. He said (via Hendrick Motorsports):
"Just to be able to go to victory lane and celebrate at the end of that race, you can't describe it. I'm not even going to try."
Earnhardt Jr. will be returning to broadcast screens in 2025 with Prime and TNT for the upcoming season. His first appearance will be during the Memorial Day Weekend’s Coca-Cola 600 at Charlotte Motor Speedway and his last appearance for next season will be at the Brickyard 400 at Indianapolis Motor Speedway on July 27.
