Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s nephew’s girlfriend Lizzy Musi dies aged 33

Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s nephew Jeffrey's girlfriend Lizzy Musi has passed away aged 33. The duo started dating in late 2023. However, after battling stage 4 breast cancer for over a year, the Street Outlaws star tragically passed away.

Lizzy Musi was born on January 1, 1991, and had a racing pedigree as she was the daughter of the racing legend Pat Musi. Her father is an 8x PDRA pro street world champion and a famous engine builder. Meanwhile, Lizzy was a renowned entity in The Outlaws and starred in the Street Outlaws: No Prep Kings TV Show with drivers from all over America showcasing their street racing prowess.

But in April last year, Lizzy Musi was diagnosed with 'Triple Negative Stage 4 Breast Cancer,' following which she broke the news about the devastating situation of her health. Taking to Instagram, Musi wrote.

"A few days ago I have been Diagnosed with Triple Negative Stage 4 Breast Cancer that has moved to my lymph nodes to my liver," she wrote.

"I have a rough journey ahead of me. I appreciate everyone’s messages and calls," Musi added.

After battling for over a year since sharing the tragic news with the motorsports community, Lizzy Musi passed away on June 27, 2024. Her father shared the saddening news on Facebook, writing a heartfelt message for his late daughter.

"Surrounded by her Family, in the comfort of her own home, Lizzy was called to heaven at 11:25 pm tonight . Thank you for all the prayers and support throughout her battle , At this time , the family would like to have time to process, grief and make arrangements in peace. we will give an update as soon as we have information to share," Pat Musi wrote.

In late 2023, Jeffrey Earnhardt, who runs part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity and Truck Series, and Lizzy Musi began dating. At that time, the 33-year-old racing star was suffering from stage 4 cancer.

Jeffrey never shied away from supporting his girlfriend and was always by her side. Musi revealed that while she was going through the worst phase of her life, Earnhardt remained unfazed and loved her till the end. The duo used to FaceTime each other and Jeffrey used to call Musi to manifest the thought that she was "beautiful" and "strong."

On February 26 this year, exactly a month after Musi shared a collage of images on Facebook, she became vocal on Instagram about the unwavering support she received from Jeffrey.

"This guy right here has supported me like no other from sleepless ER nights and dealing with my health to cheering me on at my races. This past weekend I got to watch him do his thing after a long off season and he just straight killed it ❤️," Musi wrote.

The fanbase shared the Musi family's grief and penned their heartfelt messages on the revelation.
