Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s wife, Amy Reinmann, has responded to people asking about her jacket. Amy took to Instagram and shared that the outfit was from Cecilie Copenhagen, though she had it for a long time already.
Earnhardt Jr. and Reimann began dating in 2009 after he hired her to design the interior of his Kannapolis home. The couple got married in 2017 before Dale Jr. retired from full-time competition later in the year.
In an Instagram story, Amy Earnhardt dropped the brand of the jacket her followers were asking her about. The jacket was from the Danish brand Cecilie Copenhagen, which is known today as Summery Copenhagen
"Lots of questions too about my jacket. It's an oldie but here's the label [for] those asking!" Amy wrote.
This story follows a previous post where Amy Earnhardt was wearing the jacket while wrapping presents for the holiday season. While wrapping presents, she saw a present from her husband and found the handwriting hilarious, describing it as "sharpie art."
With Christmas just around the corner, Dale Earnhardt Jr. will spend the holidays with his family after a successful season in NASCAR.
Earnhardt Jr. won another Xfinity Series championship as a team owner of JR Motorsports with driver No. 7 Chevrolet driver Justin Allgaier. He now has three Xfinity Series championships as an owner and two as a driver (1998, 1999).
For the upcoming season, the 26-time Cup race winner isn't planning to enter any part-time race in the second-tier series. However, he is not ruling out racing again in the future.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. opens up about the "problem" with his wife, Amy, every holiday season
In one of the episodes of the Dale Jr. Download podcast, Dale Earnhardt Jr. opened up about the difficulty of giving his wife Amy a gift on Christmas. The Kannapolis native said he wasn't always sure whether her wife would like his choice of presents for her.
Dale Jr. stated:
"So in the past, I myself will go and I will scour the web, and I will find something that I like and I will get that for her and she will like it [...] That was the problem." [0:04]
Amy then shared on the podcast that her husband tends to tell her he thought of her after seeing an item while shopping, but won't buy it. In response, the former Hendrick Motorsports driver said:
"I'm never sure if she wants it [...] If I show Amy ten things and go, 'This is cool. I think you'd like it.' She goes, 'Nope.'" [0:22]
Dale Earnhardt Jr. continued by sharing the story of a charcuterie board he got from Amazon that Amy didn't like. After Amy said she sliced and diced a charcuterie board for a holiday celebration, Dale Jr. defended his purchase, saying:
"Well, here you go. It's already done. Everybody on Amazon said it was great. [0:48]
This year's Christmas Day will mark the eighth year Dale Jr. and Amy will spend the holiday together as a married couple. They will celebrate together with their two daughters: Isla Rose and Nicole Lorraine.
