Amy Earnhardt, wife of retired NASCAR star Dale Earnhardt Jr., showed her social media followers that she's in the Christmas spirit this holiday season. The wife of the two-time Daytona 500 champion shared a photo of the couple's daughters and teased that it could be used for a Christmas card.

Amy posted a photo of Isla and Nicole, their two daughters, on her Instagram story. The two can be seen wearing Christmas hats along with Christmas outfits and candy canes as they sit in the back of a green pickup truck. Amy penned a caption suggesting that the photo could be quality enough to be their Christmas card this year.

"Might be our Christmas card pic," she wrote.

The post comes a few weeks after Amy was a guest on The Dale Jr. Download, her husband's podcast. The episode included a humorous exchange between Amy and Dale where she explained how her husband isn't always receptive to getting dressed up.

"Here's the thing about dressing Dale," Amy said. "He's down to do it 50 percent of the time. Then, the other 50 percent, it's straight up stomping your feet, so annoyed. He's been trying to eat better and he feels good about his bod at the moment, so taking him shopping was a breeze."

Earnhardt, a 15-time Most Popular Driver of NASCAR, detailed how he tries to "cheat" getting a suit tailored for a more comfortable fit.

"While the guy's measuring it, man, I'm like trying to make my belly as big as I can," Earnhardt said. "I was trying to cheat it a little bit, so that the guy would tailor it a little large."

Amy and Dale got married on New Year's Eve in 2016. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Isla, on April 30, 2018. On October 12, 2020, the couple welcomed their second child, a daughter named Nicole.

Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s team is bringing back the iconic #8 font in 2025

Dale Earnhardt Jr., owner of Jr. Motorsports, has fielded a #8 car in the NASCAR Xfinity Series the past few seasons. However, the #8 itself hasn't been the same font synonymous with the early days of Earnhardt's racing career.

That changes next year as Jr. Motorsports revealed that Sammy Smith will not only continue to pilot the #8 Chevrolet, but he'll have the number's old look to go with it. Earnhardt Jr. drove the #8 car for Dale Earnhardt Inc., a team owned by his late father, Dale Earnhardt, from 2000-2007.

"This number. This style. A new chapter awaits in 2025," the team wrote.

Jr. Motorsports captured the 2024 Xfinity Series championship with Justin Allgaier wheeling the #7 car to victory. Earnhardt Jr., on the other hand, is set to join the TNT Sports/Amazon broadcast team in 2025.
