Dale Earnhardt Jr.’s wife Amy shares the Thanksgiving ‘hack’ for a ‘perfect’ turkey

Former NASCAR driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s wife, Amy Earnhardt, recently shared a kitchen hack for cooking the perfect turkey for Thanksgiving. Amy Earnhardt shared before and after pictures of the turkey on her social media, where Dale Jr. is witnessed doing the work.

Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Amy Earnhardt became engaged on July 17, 2015, and married on New Year's Eve at Richard Childress' Childress Vineyards in Lexington, North Carolina. They welcomed their first daughter, Isla Rose Earnhardt, on April 30, 2018. The couple was blessed with a second daughter, Nicole, born in October 2020.

As people all over the world celebrated the joy of Thanksgiving, Dale Jr. and his wife, Amy, shared a few snaps of their preparation for the highly anticipated Thanksgiving dinner. In the first snap on her Instagram, the two-time Xfinity Series champion is adding a thick layer of mayonnaise to the turkey (via Instagram):

After the turkey was cooked, Earnhardt Jr.'s wife shared a picture on her story and wrote:

"It was perfect. The kids were not. Time for a cocktail."

Moreover, Dale Earnhardt Jr. shared a brief version of the recipe and the preparation for the Thanksgiving turkey on X.

"The bird is in the oven. Added herbs, onions, garlic inside. Slices of butter under the skin. A layer of @Hellmanns on the exterior, covered with some Kinder’s mild BBQ rub. Time for a 4 hour roast. Cracking the first beer before 10am. It’ll be a @budweiserusa"

In racing matters, Earnhardt Jr. made his return debut behind the wheel of the iconic #8 Budweiser Chevy in the zMAC CARS Tour. Despite an underwhelming performance in qualifying, the Daytona 500 winner dominated the race. However, on lap 219 of the South Carolina 400 at Florence Motor Speedway, Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s night of racing met with an untimely end, following a fuel pump issue.

NASCAR veteran Kenny Wallace commented on Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s wife Amy Earnhardt's recent involvement in Dale Jr.'s media company, Dirty Mo Media. Following his retirement from the Sport, Junior remained connected with NASCAR via the Dirty Mo Media company, which provides all-around coverage of the sport.

In a recent episode of Coffee With Kenny run by Kenny Wallace, the veteran said (via X):

“I don't know if you've gone over there to Dirty Mo Media...the Dale Jr. Download. I love it when Amy Earnhardt's on there. Because she de-bulls**ts everything. She's gangster as all hell,” Wallace said. (4:10)
“Amy comes in at least once a month to the Dale Jr. Download and it's like, Amy, do you got Dale Jr.? Amy dresses Dale Jr. They're a great couple. I'm convinced that Amy takes care of Dale Jr.” he added

Meanwhile, the Cup Series will return for the NASCAR Clash at Bowman Gray on February 2nd, at 8:00 PM ET.
