Earnhardt also shared a post on X on Christmas Day and wrote about his dissatisfaction with the holiday music getting off radio stations.

"Merry Christmas yall. Hope it's been a good holiday season. Man it seems this one flew by. The Christmas music on the local radio station won't be playing much longer. I gotta do better next year at slowing this month down at bit, if that's at all possible," Dale Earnhardt Jr. wrote.

The 50-year-old retired from full-time racing in the Cup Series after the 2017 season. He now works as a broadcaster and is set to join NASCAR's booth on a multi-year contract with Amazon Prime Video and TNT next year.
