Dale Earnhardt Jr. has teased a new iRacing event in partnership with High Rock, a company he co-owns with Amy Earnhardt. The 50-year-old took to Instagram to post about the virtual event, though he remained mum about the details.

The Kannapolis native gave a glimpse of the "Driven to Give 400" on Instagram, saying:
"Coming soon to @iracingofficial. We will share more details soon."
Based on the teaser post, the "Driven to Give 400" could be a charity e-race on iRacing. The driver's Dale Jr. Foundation and High Rock are involved in the event's organization.
Dale Jr. Foundation is a charity committed to providing underprivileged youth resources to help them realize their dreams. Meanwhile, High Rock is a vodka company he co-owns with his wife Amy in partnership with Sugarlands Distilling Company.
Last year, Dale Earnhardt Jr. joined iRacing's 4th Annual MS Charity Race fielded by GT3s and stock cars. The charity event was able to raise over $40,000 for the National MS Society, an organization that aims to combat multiple sclerosis.
The details of the "Driven to Give 400" could be released in iRacing's 2025 Season 1 timeframe. This season released five new cars including the Supercars Gen 3 versions of the Ford Mustang and Chevrolet Camaro.
Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s managed iRacing announced new AI updates
Last November, Dale Earnhardt Jr.'s iRacing platform announced a collaboration with Microsoft Research to explore new possibilities with AI. The project aims to improve the overall racing experience using new AI-based learning models.
The AI-based learning models can provide iRacing feedback on different ways to improve the game. In turn, the developers hope the technology can help users enjoy the game more and improve their performance in the virtual world.
In a statement, iRacing president Tony Gardner said:
“We couldn’t be more excited to work with Microsoft on new AI-based learning models which hopefully will lead to iRacers having even a better experience, not to mention improving their racecraft and performance,”
He added:
“Our goal is to leverage the realism and quality of our existing product, build upon our market-leading existing single player opponent AI, and learn from the collaboration with Microsoft Research to create new and improved features that will benefit all iRacers.”
Dale Earnhardt Jr. has been part of the growth of iRacing in the racing scene as an executive and advocate. He was the inaugural race winner in the platform's premier eNASCAR division in 2010.
Coincidentally, NASCAR is also considering AI to make changes in competition matters such as playoff format. With the use of AI for predictive analysis, the official can evaluate the pros and cons of certain tweaks in competition matters.
