Dale Jr. revealed that he had "offensive" pairs of socks at home and was also wearing a pair that might make people uncomfortable. He mentioned having a pair of special "Michael Jackson" socks as well.
Dale Earnhardt Jr. is known for his quirky humor as he speaks on the Dale Jr Download podcast, sharing incidents from his racing career and sometimes personal stories, too. Recently, he revealed a strange part of his wardrobe, claiming that some people might as well find them "offensive."
He revealed that he had certain pairs of socks and he was also wearing one which would make his guests feel "uncomfortable."
"I've got some really aggressive socks that I'm wearing and I love the fact that I'm the only one that knows that they're there," Earnhardt said. "I've got some socks on that might actually be offensive to you. I've got some socks that actually might make you uncomfortable. You know, you're walking around and you're like, I got some really **** back socks on."
He further explained that his favorite pair of socks in his wardrobe have Michael Jackson printed on them, inspired by his "Thriller" single. The popular music video of the song shows Jackson turning into a werewolf, and Dale Jr's pair features that; with Jackson on one of them and the werewolf on the other.
"My favorite socks that I own, I think it's Michael Jackson and Michael Jackson in the thriller. Is it the thriller where he turns into the werewolf? He's dressed like the high school kid. That's one sock and the other socks him as the werewolf."
Revealing he has two such pairs, Jr. narrated a funny story from when his nanny tried to match the pairs and kept them wrong, trying to keep the similar-looking socks together.
"This is a funny, funny part. I have two pair of those and our nanny was trying to pair them up incorrectly. Two werewolves together and two high school Michael Jackson together. And I'd have to take them apart and put them back. Quit putting the werewolves together!"
Dale Jr. on reuniting with his iconic #8 'Budweiser' car

He is racing under the JR Motorsports tag and will be participating on a part-time basis. He participated in one race each year in 2022 and 2023 at North Wilkesboro. However, he is expected to have a more active schedule this time.
Reviewing his partnership with Budweiser, Dale Jr. earlier said:
"It is an incredible opportunity for me to be able to reunite with Budweiser, and the No. 8. Budweiser and I had some great memories with that iconic scheme and number. We’ve always supported each other over the years. It’s going to be really special for me to be able to represent that brand on the racetrack again."
Earnhardt Jr. witnessed his career-best finish in the Cup Series with the same car when he finished the season in third place back in 2003.
