After retiring from the world of racing in 2018, Patrick has gone into entrepreneurship and business management. She has her own clothing line, Warrior by Danica Patrick and she has also authored the health book Pretty Intense.

Patrick made her full-time racing debut in NASCAR in 2012, when she drove in the Xfinity Series for JR Motorsports. During her year with the four-time championship winning team, she finished 10th in the points standings, making her the first woman in 63 years to have such a high finish in a major stock-car series. In 2013, she became the first woman to have competed in a full season of the Cup Series, competing in the 36-race schedule for SHR, whom she would remain with till her last full-time season of 2017.

During her time competing, Patrick became the first woman to score seven Top 10 finishes in the Cup Series. She also became the first woman to secure a pole position, when she qualified for the top spot in the 2013 Daytona 500. In this race, she finished eighth which also marks the highest-finish for a woman in the event. She has also scored one Top 5 finish and seven Top 10 finishes in the Xfinity series.

Danica Patrick capped off her racing career by competing in the 2018 editions of the Daytona 500, for Premium Motorsports and the Indianapolis 500, for Ed Carpenter Racing. She unfortunately didn't finish either race, having encountered crashes during both drives.

Danica Patrick shares hilarious meme about Dry January

The former IndyCar driver took to her story earlier today to share a meme about the month of January. Some people challenge themselves for the month of January to abstain from drinking alcohol which is how it has become known as Dry January. Patrick re-posted a meme poking fun at the technicalities of the challenge to her story earlier today.

The meme, using the popular template featuring Nicolas Cage and Pedro Pascal, makes reference to wines:
