After her divorce with Paul Edward Hospenthal in 2013, Patrick dated Cup Series driver Ricky Stenhouse Jr. and later NFL star Aaron Rodgers. However, after she parted ways with Rodgers in 2020, Patrick was linked with businessman Carter Comstock.

Danica Patrick lists "Five Important Traits" when she looks for a partner
Former IndyCar and NASCAR driver Danica Patrick has been an inspiration for many women to go for a career in motorsports. The former IndyCar Most Popular driver is also is quite public about her personal life and her lifestyle.
In a 2023 conversation with Connor Beaton on ManTalks, Danica Patrick revealed five important traits required by her partner.
The host Beaton asked:
"What is a woman like Danica Patrick looking for in a man?"
To this the former NASCAR driver replied:
"I do have... There are five important traits... These are not in order, these are just the five things: adventure, smart - intellectual, open-minded, that whole thing - honest, funny and passionate. There's a lot else but those are the main most important things to me that I know I need, and I've learned that through relationships."
However, Patrick claims that a person need not necessarily have to fit in a certain box or list but believes that the person should be honest and truthful. She also added that the partner should not always agree and believes disagreeing is the "most endeearing thing."
"There's value in not agreeing in everything because it shows that you're in your truth, you're living your truth, you're honest and your words match your emotions because that's something that I sense deeply within people, is whether or not what they're projecting and what's coming out of their mouths and how they're acting is in resonance with their truth." Patrick added.
