Danica Patrick showcases her US elections campaigning photo dump as she makes her ‘wildly unexpected’ feelings known

Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick shared pictures from the 2024 US Presidential campaigns. Throughout the campaign, she had been an open supporter of Donald Trump and the Republican Party.

Patrick, one of the few first women to make it to NASCAR and as a Formula 1 presenter with Sky Sports, showcased her political side in the election. She had been actively posting on social media, encompassing her political beliefs.

After Trump was elected as the President earlier this week, Patrick shared a post showing her extensive work throughout the campaign to support him and the Republican party.

"These are some of the pictures from the last 2 weeks of campaigning," Patrick wrote on Instagram. "What a wildly unexpected turn of events for me. It always felt like a calling. And of course, an honor."

Patrick further revealed that she campaigned in every swing state except Michigan, but marked that Trump won all of those states which was a major achievement for him.

"I realized that I campaigned in every swing state except for Michigan!!!! (Arizona, Nevada, Georgia, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin) I was suppose to speak at the last Trump rally in Grand Rapids but it was already midnight when we arrived in the Trump motorcade since I was on Trump Force 1, and the boss went straight on stage. As he should. I know it took so many people to accomplish what we did, but he won every swing state…. and that feels pretty damn good!"

Danica Patrick's cheeky jibe on Kamala Harris after Donald Trump won the 2024 elections

Democratic Party's Kamala Harris got only 226 electoral votes while Donald Trump crossed the 270 mark and became the 47th President of the country.

After Trump was elected, Danica Patrick took to her social media to discuss the possible changes that would be witnessed soon. She wrote:

"Grab your popcorn!" she wrote. "We still have the Diddy list, mass government firings, angry libs making videos to show how mad they are, celebs leaving the country, a riveting final speech by Kamala, the view, and so much more!"

Patrick raced in the NASCAR Cup Series between 2012 and 2018. While she did not manage to win any races in this period, she remains one of the only women drivers to have stepped into the sport. She raced for Stewart-Haas Racing in the Cup Series, taking part in her final race at the 2018 Daytona 500 for Premium Motorsports.

Prior to this, Danica Patrick also raced in the IndyCar series where she was much more competitive. She still remains to be the only woman to have won a race in the series after winning in Japan in 2008.
