Former NASCAR driver Danica Patrick was in agreement with author Elizabeth April's claims that humans of the past found a cure for cancer but were killed off. Patrick hosted April in one of the most bizarre episodes of her "Pretty Intense" podcast.

Ever since retiring from NASCAR in 2017, and hanging her helmet in 2018, former IndyCar race winner Danica Patrick has focused on growing her media career. A trailblazer in the sport and one of the most prominent female figures in motorsports history, Patrick now finds herself in Formula 1 paddocks as an analyst or hosting and attending podcasts across social media.

Among Patrick's personal ventures is a podcast, "Pretty Intense." The name of the podcast has been derived from the book "Pretty Intense: The 90-Day Mind, Body and Food Plan that Will Absolutely Change Your Life," written by Patrick herself. The podcast, which was started in 2020, focuses on concepts of spirituality.

In one of the more recent episodes of her podcast, Patrick hosted intuitive psychic and best-selling author Elizabeth April. The podcast was centred around some of the more bizarre theories of Reptilians and Galactic Federation. April’s most startling assertion was her claim that ancient humans had discovered a cure for cancer but were systematically eliminated to suppress this knowledge. She explained:

"We are seeing a lot of New Earth Solutions coming about. Huge organisations are dedicated to cleaning the oceans. Even 14-year-old kids are creating solutions to environmental problems. (2:58)
"These solutions are coming out at such a quantity that the "powers that were" can't keep up. Back in the day, there were just one or two guys who basically had the balls to have these solutions, and say, 'hey! I found a solution for cancer.' They were killed off every single time."

Patrick, expressing her open-mindedness and craft in spiritual topics, was in agreement with April’s theories. The former Stewart-Haas Racing driver replied:

"Yeah, it's all just a reflection. We don't see things as they are, we see things as we are. So if we're not wanting to see the truth out there, its probably a reflection of not wanting to see the truth inside."

Danica Patrick elaborates her experiences with manifestation

During the episode, Patrick also shared her personal experiences with psychedelics, discussing a significant moment from a psychedelic guided mushroom journey. The former Cup Series driver revealed:

"I took a big mushroom journey almost two and a half years ago. It was big five grams, it was a guided journey. When I was in that space, the first thing I dropped into was a waveform. (39:48)
"I was like, I knew I wasn't real. I was like, 'how am I ever going to be human again?' Our experiences are waveforms interacting with us. They are passing by, sometimes they're vibing with us. Sometimes they're hitting us."

According to Patrick, this journey made her question her sense of reality and how she perceives human experiences. The former NASCAR driver explained:

"I thought, 'oh wow, I'm cold.' And so when I take mushrooms I can get very cold. And I was like, 'I know it's not real.' And then the mushrooms were like 'no it's fine. This is the experience you're having.'"

With over 300,000 views, Danica Patrick's podcast episode with Elizabeth April has proven to be one of the best performing videos on her YouTube channel.
