NASCAR driver Daniel Suarez shared a photo on December 29 to celebrate his mother's birthday. The Mexican driver took to his social media to mark the occasion by sharing his wishes for his mom. The 32-year-old driver showed off his family in the photograph he posted.
The people in the photo included his wife, his sisters, and their partners, and his mom who stood in the center of the picture. Suarez shared the photo on X (formerly Twitter) with the caption in Spanish:
"Feliz cumpleaños mamá" [Happy Birthday Mom]
Suarez also shared the post on Instagram, where it has so far recieved 4,000 likes.
The Mexican driver scored his second win in the Cup Series earlier this year at the Atlanta Motor Speedway after he beat out Ryan Blaney and Kyle Busch, with first and third place being separated by a mere 0.007s. His first win came at the Sonoma Raceway in 2022. Both of his wins have come with Trackhouse Racing, the team he has been with since 2021. Before moving to the Cup Series, he drove in the Xfinity Series, winning the championship in 2016.
The #99 driver made it into the 2024 playoffs, but was eliminated in the Round of 12, finishing his season in 12th place with the single win, four top fives and nine top 10s.
Daniel Suarez will return to the Cup Series next year, having re-signed with Trachouse Racing to continue driving in the #99 team. He will be joined by teammates Ross Chastain, and the new addition to the Justin Marks-owned team, Shane van Gisbergen.
