Denny Hamlin announced that a new member will join the family next year. Hamlin took to Instagram to share Christmas family pictures, including the sonogram of his third child expected in June.
Hamlin is a veteran NASCAR driver under Joe Gibbs Racing. The driver is engaged to long-time partner Jordan Fish, who he met during a 2007 Charlotte Bobcats game. The couple share two daughters, Taylor James and Molly Gold.
Per Instagram, Denny Hamlin wished his followers a Merry Christmas and shared the pregnancy news.
"The more, the Merrier. Merry Christmas 🎄🎁," Hamlin wrote.
Several NASCAR personalities congratulated the couple on social media, including Samantha Busch, Kyle Busch's wife, and JR Motorsports co-owner Kelley Earnhardt-Miller.
The third child will follow Molly, born on August 15, 2017. Meanwhile, the eldest child, Taylor, was born on January 20, 2013.
The family expects the new family member to arrive in June 2025. It will coincide with NASCAR's busy three-week schedule of racing in Michigan, Mexico City, and Pennsylvania (Pocono), respectively.
The Mexico City stop will be held at Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez, which will be the sport's first points-paying race outside the US since 1958.
For now, Denny Hamlin will prepare for the 2025 NASCAR Cup Season season-opener in the Daytona 500 in February. He will also continue dealing with 23XI Racing's lawsuit battle against NASCAR.
Hamlin is one of the co-owners of 23XI Racing along with six-time NBA champion Michael Jordan.
"I like to have fun": Denny Hamlin shares a fun family moment amid NASCAR lawsuit battle
While 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports' lawsuit against NASCAR is ongoing, Denny Hamlin went to IKEA with his family to do some shopping. One of the moments was riding a trolley with her daughter Molly.
Hamlin's fiancee, Jordan Fish, shared the father-daughter moment on social media. She wrote:
"Take a dad to @ikeausa"
In response, the 54-time Cup race winner said:
"I like to have fun"
The IKEA trip was just among the things Hamlin recently had fun on. The Joe Gibbs Racing driver expressed delight after the court approved the preliminary injunction that allows 23XI Racing and Front Row Motorsports to compete as de facto chartered teams next year.
"YESSSSSSS!!!!!!!" Hamlin wrote on X (formerly Twitter) on December 19.
Hamlin wasn't also shy of making his feelings known after Judge Kenneth Bell denied NASCAR's motion to delay the transfer of Stewart-Haas Racing charters to the teams. He posted a GIF of the fictional character Al Bundy celebrating the holiday season in a Christmas costume and wishing a Merry Christmas.
23XI Racing is projected to compete with three charters next year, adding Riley Herbst to the team.
Hamlin will return to the No. 11 Toyota Camry for Joe Gibbs Racing for his 20th season in the NASCAR Cup Series. He concluded the 2024 season with three wins, 12 top-5s, and 18 top-10s.
