Recently, Jordan Fish shared a video of a parenting expert discussing two different approaches to parenting. Jordan is engaged to Joe Gibbs Racing driver Denny Hamlin and the couple are parents to two daughters.

Hamlin first met Jordan during a Charlotte Bobcats game in 2007, when Fish was a cheerleader for the Charlotte Lady Cats. Their elder daughter, Taylor James Hamlin, was born in 2013, and Molly Gold Hamlin, the second daughter, was born in 2017. Moreover, the renowned NASCAR couple announced their engagement earlier this year in January.

Apart from being a successful former cheerleader, Jordan Fish also owns a clothing brand called Bambinos. The 36-year-old is quite active on Instagram and has over 38,300 followers. She recently shared an insightful video by Global Parenting Expert Jo Frost, which discussed the two distinctive parenting styles, authoritarian and authoritative.

The two parenting styles have similar names but entirely different meanings. In brief, authoritarian parenting is when the parents follow a strict and controlling approach in dealing with their children and rely on punishment rather than solving the solutions. Authoritative parenting, on the other hand, is when parents assist their children and offer logical reasoning with emotional support to respond to the child's behavior.

Here's the video that Hamlin's wife and mother of two children posted on her Instagram story:

Jordan Fish posted proud moments of both of her daughter's performances

Jordan Fish has been quite private about her life on social media, but never shies away from sharing her proud moments as a mother.

A couple of weeks ago, Fish shared a heartwarming post after her daughter Molly's debut theatre performance at The Charles Mack Citizen Center in North Carolina. In a "Nemo Jr." play, the six-year-old Molly played the role of "Pearl, the Octopus."

"Last week, Molly starred in her first ever theater performance of “Nemo Jr.” as Pearl the Octopus 🐙 Words can’t express how proud of this lil peanut!!! Thank you @masterworksnc and @shelleya_carpenter , your vision for these kids, and this entire show is something out of this world! Believe it or not, but these puppets were all handmade by their team and staff, but these awesome kiddos brought them to life! I’m one lucky mama 🥰🫶🏼🥹 #nemo #nemojr #findingnemo #puppets #puppetry #musicaltheatre," Fish wrote in her post.

The proud mother also shared an adorable post of her elder daughter, Taylor, in a musical play called "Shrek Jr. - the Musical". The 11-year-old portrayed the character of "Teen Fiona" from the play.

"So proud of my lil “Teen Fiona”!!! Her and her classmates did such an amazing job at “Shrek Jr.” !!! I’m so proud of you TayTay! 💚✨" Fish captioned the post.

Meanwhile, #11 Toyota driver Hamlin is looking to add more wins as the drivers get closer to the NASCAR 2024 playoffs. The 43-year-old Hamlin stands P4 in the points standings and 42 points behind the table leader Kyle Larson, his arch-rival. Hamlin so far has accumulated three wins, seven top-fives, and eight top-ten finishes out of 20 starts.
