Ahead of this weekend's playoff race, Chase Elliott, Joey Logano, and company have shared why they can qualify for the final round of this season. The next round will comprise four drivers who will battle it out for the NASCAR Cup Series championship on November 10, at the Phoenix Raceway.

While Elliott and Logano shared their reasons why they can make it to the final round, this has come after Kevin Harvick, a former NASCAR driver and Fox Sports analyst, snubbed their chances of making it to the round of 4.

Bob Pockrass of Fox Sports asked eight drivers who qualified for the penultimate round to answer the question: "Why will I make the Championship 4?"

Here's how Elliott answered:

"I think our team is just extremely well-rounded and we have a lot of depth too, I feel also with a lot of experience. I think those are all extremely important things as it pertains to making it through the rounds."

Logano barely qualified for the next round after NASCAR disqualified Alex Bowman following the Charlotte ROVAL race last Sunday. Bowman's car failed the post-race inspection, and this improved Logano's position, and he made it to the next round.

"For numerous reasons. We've been in this position before," Logano said. "I know we're not having the most playoff points going into the playoffs themselves, but I think we know how to execute each round and get to the next one, get to the next one."
"And the bottom line, when you get to the Round of 8, for us, I think we're going to have to win. Pointing in is probably not in the cards, depending on who else wins in that round, but most likely winning in that round is going to be our ticket in," the Penske driver added.

Besides Chase Elliott and Joey Logano, Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, Tyler Reddick, William Byron, Ryan Blaney, and Denny Hamlin all shared their individual takes to explain why they can see themselves through to the next round.

What did Kevin Harvick say about Chase Elliott and Joey Logano's championship hopes?

Kevin Harvick, the 2014 NASCAR Cup Series champion, did not have much faith in Chase Elliott and Joey Logano's hopes of reaching the Championship 4. While both Elliott and Logano have championship-winning experience, Harvick feels it will not be enough.

"I don't see [Joey] Logano and [Ryan] Blaney having the speed," Harvick said in the recent Happy Hour podcast. "Chase Elliott has been very consistent and had quality good finishes. But I just haven't seen that dominant performance out of those three guys."

Besides Elliott, Logano, and Blaney, he also initially ruled out Joe Gibbs Racing's Denny Hamlin, but also called him a wild card.

If these four drivers are eliminated at the end of this round, Kyle Larson, Christopher Bell, William Byron, and regular season champion Tyler Reddick would battle it out for the ultimate glory in 2024.
