The 2020 NASCAR Cup Series champion, Chase Elliott, has built his career on thrilling victories and consistent performances. With an impressive track record, the #9 Hendrick Motorsports Chevrolet has showcased his ability to dominate races and win under pressure. Elliott has won 19 of his career Cup wins on his ability, but once he won a NASCAR race without leading a lap.

Chase Elliott was declared the winner of a 2022 NASCAR Cup Series race at Pocono Raceway after all top finishers ahead of him were disqualified after the race.

Two Joe Gibbs Racing drivers, Denny Hamlin, and Kyle Busch, finished first and second, respectively, while Chase Elliott racked up a third-place finish at the M&M Fan Appreciation 400 at Pocono in the 2022 season. However, Hamlin and Busch’s car failed post-race inspection after material was found in the front fascia of their car that was supposed to be not there as per rules.

As a result, NASCAR disqualified them and declared third-place finisher Elliott as the winner of the Pocono race. It marked Elliott’s fourth win of that season. He wrapped that season with five wins and a fourth-place finish in the Cup Series final championship standings.
