Bubba Wallace is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the Cup Series under Denny Hamlin's co-owned team 23XI Racing, driving the #23 Toyota Camry XSE.
Wallace is the highest finishing African-American in the Daytona 500. Additionally, he drove for the seven-time Cup Series champion Richard Petty's team from 2017 to 2020.
Apart from driving around ovals in high speeds, the Alabama native exhibits a passion for photography. He has devoted over a decade to the field and even started his own photography page.
Wallace was featured in a FOX Sports interview during the COVID break and it was there that he made his hobby public. During the interview with reporter Lindsay Czarniak, the 23XI Racing driver revealed how he began photography.
"We were at a test session when I was with Revolution Racing. Greenville Pickens, a fun race track, I ran a couple times there in late models, I was gonna come up through the ranks and my dad had his old Nikon in the backseat of his truck and I grabbed it. That was 2010 and maybe that camera was from 2005, ” said Bubba Wallace. [16:25]
The NASCAR driver knew little about the field back then and found it challenging, but his "I’m gonna figure it out" attitude helped him succeed in his passion. He also collaborated with National Geographic for a night sky photography workshop.
Wallace teamed up with professional photographer Babak Tafreshi for the workshop on immersive in-field night sky photography. The duo went to Gooseberry Mesa, Utah, and captured phenomenal images.
"Photography is a hobby that I love to do. Definitely a good counterbalance to the fast-paced life I live," Bubba Wallace on photography.

Recently, Bubba Wallace's photography page shared a portrait image of Amanda and Becks on their story. The couple's son was seen relaxing on Amanda's chest, and Wallace captured the mesmerizing moment with his camera. The 31-year-old edited and uploaded the picture along with a two-word caption, and his wife reshared the image on her Instagram.

Following a similar instance, Amanda Wallace earned praise from her husband's photography page. Amanda captured a heartwarming image of the father-son duo looking at each other during their son's first trip to New York City.

Bubba Wallace's wife humorously reacted to the image and reposted it on her account. She compared herself to a well-renowned Spanish painter Pablo Picasso and wrote:

Wallace still believes he is in the learning stage and utilizes high-end cameras such as the Sony A1, Leica MP, and Leica Q3 for his hobby. The Cup Series driver wants to travel and capture some stunning photographs after his retirement.
