NASCAR Cup Series driver Kyle Busch and his wife, Samantha Busch, recently enjoyed a family vacation in Italy. Taking advantage of NASCAR's two-week break for the Paris Olympics, the Busch family made the most of their break. Samantha shared a heartfelt post on Instagram, expressing her appreciation for the Italian getaway as their trip came to an end.
Samantha and Kyle Busch, driver of Richard Childress Racing's #8 car, have been married since December 31, 2010. The couple welcomed their son, Brexton Locke Busch, five years later, and their daughter, Lennix Key Busch, in 2022. The couple, who dated for two years before tying the knot, have been very popular among the NASCAR fraternity.
As NASCAR took a two-week hiatus, the Busch family took a luxurious vacation to Italy. Besides visiting historical landmarks, they also enjoyed savoring the local cuisine and visiting tourist hotspots. However, as the Cup Series is set to return on August 11th, their Italian getaway came to an end.
Samantha shared a picture with her husband Kyle Busch, and son Brexton on her Instagram story and expressed delight about their recent trip. She wrote:
"This has been such a relaxing and beautiful trip. Bucket list trip complete and it was everything I thought it would be and more. So grateful!"
Samantha Busch holds a degree in Psychology from Purdue University. Beyond her roles as a racing mom and wife, she is the author of the book "Fighting Infertility," where she courageously addresses and combats the stigma surrounding infertility. Samantha is also a professional fashion designer and blogger, documenting race weekends she attends with her husband.
Kyle Busch pilots the #8 Chevrolet for Richard Childress Racing in the Cup Series. Busch is the most decorated driver in the Cup Series but has been facing a slump in form this season. Yet to qualify for the playoffs, Kyle Busch would be aiming for a strong performance at Richmond on Sunday to spark an upturn of form.

On their vacation in Italy, the Busch family covered several historic landmarks, including the Colosseum in Rome. However, Samantha Busch's liking for Italian cuisine also led the couple to relish several meals at famous local spots.
Samantha and her husband went out for lunch, and while waiting for their food, they ordered a few drinks. Kyle Busch ordered a Bloody Mary, but the way it was prepared caught Samantha Busch's eye.
She shared a picture of the cocktail on her Instagram story and remarked on the extravagant preparation:
"They brought Kyle a Bloody Mary with a whole caprese salad in it lol," Samantha wrote.
She also shared her delight in experiencing authentic Italian cuisine, noting how it differed from the way Italian food is prepared back home.
