Daniel Suarez, the former Xfinity Series champion, is now in his eighth season in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the #99 Chevrolet for Trackhouse Racing. Competing full-time, Suárez currently holds 17th place in the 2024 drivers' standings with 460 points.

Piquet recently shared a post on her Instagram story, which suggested that the current president of Brazil, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, has helped reduce the rate of deforestation in the region. Furthermore, the post claimed that Brazil has established a $204 million relief fund for the Amazon Rainforest.

Piquet took this as an opportunity to criticize what the post had to say, claiming it to be fake news. She wrote on her Instagram story:

The Amazon Rainforest produces a lot of oxygen and is home to 10% of all known species. Several plants in the Amazon have also been identified as having anti-cancer properties by the U.S. National Cancer Institute. However, recent reports by the WWF (World Wide Fund for Nature) suggest that 17% of the forest has been lost.

After nearly two years of engagement, Julia Piquet and Daniel Suárez tied the knot on July 30th in Brazil. The couple, who began dating in 2019, have become a beloved pair among NASCAR fans.

"Why Daniel didn't invite any of the drivers? Like Bubba Wallace"

Piquet responded to this question, clearing the air on the topic. She wrote:

"My dear friends @bubbawallace and @amandaaawallace were invited but my girl is pregnant and travelling far away on a plane isn't easy. They were with us in spirit."

Julia Piquet's sister, Kelly Piquet, is in a relationship with Formula One champion Max Verstappen. Despite earlier speculation that Verstappen might attend the wedding, it has since been confirmed that the Red Bull Racing driver did not make an appearance.
