Full race results of NASCAR ARCA Series at Elko Speedway

The 2024 NASCAR Shore Lunch 250 presented by Dutch Boy Paints is done and dusted. The 12th race of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season commenced at 9 pm ET on Saturday, August 3, at the Elko Speedway, with 20 entries.

William Sawalich, driving the #18 Toyota for Joe Gibbs Racing, secured his fifth win of the 2024 ARCA Menards Series season in a three-wide wild photo finish over Lavar Scott and Kris Wright at the Elko Speedway. It marked his ninth win of the series.

The 17-year-old Minnesota driver started from the pole and dominated the race until Lap 149 when Michael Maples missed the corner and crashed into Sawalich’s car, sending him spinning and bringing out the caution.

From there, Sawalich made a comeback and went on to win his 10th ARCA Menards Series race. He crossed the finish line by a margin of 0.011 seconds ahead of Scott to grab the checkered flag.

Speaking to FOX Sports’ Heather DeBeaux about the thrilling win at Elko Speedway, Sawalich said:

“That was one of the best races I’ve ever put together and this team has ever put together. Just really shows our teamwork and dedication towards this race and obviously in front of the home crowd this is awesome. I mean, this is the coolest thing ever to do this. And I was racing legend cars here four years ago so it’s pretty emotional.”

Meanwhile, Lavar Scott finished runner-up, followed by Kris Wright, Isabella Robusto, and Andres Perez in the top five. E.J. Tomayo, Toni Breidinger, Sean Hingorani, Greg Van Alst, and Christian Rose completed the top 10.
